Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

New Money Maker

Hi guys

I have never seen any service like ZuluTrade and I think it is terribly smart indeed.

From what I understand they allow you to choose among a list of systems that make trades for you.
i also read that they use FXDD, FXCM, i-TradeFX, AVAFX and FOREX.com

I opened a demo account and i started with $50 000 last wednesday ( 25 march 2009 ) and today ( 01 april 2009 ) i have $53,270.good result till now.

I don't have to study or monitor the market to make a good pick, because they have well-known experts from all over the world are doing it for me. All I have to do is pick the experts i like, and Zulu trade will quickly convert their advice into live trades in my trading account directly with the broker. And the best of all, it's completely FREE!*

If you wish to test their system out, you may visit their website at

I use Zulutrade from 4 mounth.
It's already happened that in my account there was trade that I not found in the account of the provider. To this question, I never received an answer from Zulutrade.
Yesterday it happened again and in many trade with two different providers.
Some of you is the same thing happened?
Why on my account there are trade lost while the same trade of the providers are win ?

I have a demo-account. I trade with 1 lot of the provider 1234abcd and the trades in my demoaccount are totaly different than on the page of the provider. How can you explain this. Is Zulutrade a scam? The trades on my demo 1 lot for 1 and 2 july are -12,15, 24, -18, -24, 8, 13 and 1 lot still open -136. On the page of the provider 16, 22, 6, 11, 20, 35, 29, 16, 20, -2
How is it possible to cheat with the trades? Are here real traders with life accounths that are happy with Zulutrade????

disaster

Hi i am with zulutrader from two month a go with account real, in the first month i win 1500 pips, but this week i loss 3500 pis with the same traders, they are no close the operation with the 600 pips of loss. i dont understand is not profesional and play with mi money how the casino.

Automated Trading and Notifications

I am trying out ZuluTrade and I cannot seem to find a way to indicate that I want an email sent to me whenever a trade/position opens and/or closes. I don't see how I could use automated trading without this notification because when a position is opened, I may want to stay aware of how it is doing. Is this email feature available? All of the other automated trading platforms I have been trying do have this. Most I have tried are based off of Tradency (FXCM, FXDD, Forex.com, etc.).

ZuluTrade looks very promising, but without the email notification, I would not be willing to use it.

Thanks.

signal provider

Hello,
I am a signal provider with Zulu and am building my trading history. After 30 trades I will be listed. I want to be the best provider and have 100's of clients. I trade short periods, with low draw down, I will take a small loss on a trade if I am mistaken in my calculation and not keep it riding forever. That is not real trader.
Losses are there in every business, it is a business expense and a professional trader knows how to limit losses to keep profit margin high.
I am very happy to find zulu trade.
I also have a live account through FXDD and have other signal providers as well as myself trading the account.
Their styles are very different from mine, I never go against a trend, but I see some providers will sell into an uptrend until it turns. One provider is doing that in my live account. He opens many trades all the way up and then collects the money all the way down and he is very good at it. I limit him to 5 lots but he can open 20 lots. Margin must be protected but his system works and he has 95% success with no more than 70 pips drawdown, His name is Cheetah, (no that is not me, it is a provider I am using) if anyone wants to check his stats out. I recommend Cheetah. But his style is not my style. I only trade with a confirmed trend.
I will be listed soon if all goes well and it is so far. 99% success rate, drawdown no more than 25 pips.. Let's see if I can keep it that way. After all that is all I have to do, is have a good record, consistent gains. If I am dependable then I will have many clients and I will make money too for my valuable service...
There are a lot of clowns masquerading as signal providers on zulu, I am wary and do dd. I wouldn't buy stock in just any company. There are always Enrons and Healthsouths out there. But there are also IBMs.
I am looking to see if I can find a better broker. FXDD is alright, fixed spreads but they are market makers (liquidity is good) but they freeze the servers during busy times and will take opposite trades so there is a conflict of interest there.
Anyone can recommend a good stp or ecn for use with Zulu?
Best wishes..

hey guys,

ive had a zulu account for about a year now, when i first opened the account i got stung pretty bad and gave it a rest for several months. im back at it though with a game plan, and this time im recording both my balance and my equity into microsoft excel with a piece of software i wrote. i have a few weeks of history and the results are a little promising though too premature to really say how its going, but here is a graph of my balance and equity so far.

though as a warning i will let you guys know that i am still experiencing a glitch, sometimes when a signal provider changes a stop or a limit value, the change gets rejected by my broker. so when they exit the trade, it is still open in my account. its disappointing but im trying to stay on top of it by making the change myself when i see it was rejected by my broker.

more time has gone by and i thought i might give you an update on how zulu is going for me. to anyone who is interested in zulu, i'll let you in on a trick to make zulu work (assuming this keeps going well for me): diversify alot. what i have done is selected 40 signal providers, none of which are aliases of one another, i capped them all so no one trader can hold more than 10 positions, i gave them each a stop of 500 pips, and each trader is trading one micro lot.

here is my reasoning:
- 40 signal providers means no one idiot or even 5 idiots will wipe out your account, then you fire them after they make a stupid move
- 1 micro lot so you can afford 40 traders
- 500 pip stop to give them room to do their own thing without letting them get ridiculously out of hand
- cap them at 10 positions so they dont keep averaging down for months

in this image i put one chart over another to incorporate some missing data, i didnt start recording my equity until about two weeks in, so i thought i would show you that as well. (the scale on the one chart describes pips, but you have to divide it by 10 since i am trading one micro)

RESPONSE and QUESTION

Hi,

I have both a response and a question. As to an ECN Broker you may go to earnforex.com and see listings according to categories and they are crossreferenced. ECN brokers, Paypal brokers, etc.

I see you are a professional trader and found you as I was trying to research the credibility to Zulu Trade on this site. However, because I am new I am confused by the reviews where you find doubt and contradiction is most reviews. Anyway, it has been difficult to find ECN brokers who also provide Paypal pmt method as I feel that it is more controllable. At this point I am looking to have someone manage my account and trade for me for a fee? However, reputation and references must be provided. Would you recommend yourself or someone else for this task?

Your response will be appreciated.

Gianna
