Forex Flex EA Review

This is an amazing EA. People trade with too high risk, and wonder why DD is high. Keep it simple. If you have a $1000 account trade worth 0.01 lot size. If you have a $5000 account, trade with 0.05 lot size etc. I'm making 2-5% per month low risk. That's so much better than the banks or most other investments - we all need to stop thinking of Forex a get quick rich scheme!

Used this EA to pass a prop firm challenge at Ftmo which I am over the moon about. Was surprisingly easy to setup and didn’t have touch it once after.

Will use it on the funded account now.

Am using this to trade on the S&P with my own set file (settings). Very successful and the developer assisted by making a modification that was required for this to work.

I have been testing Aggro V2 for several months on demo and live accounts and its doing well. Be sure to follow the User Guide and modify the pairs. Steve has always answered my questions. I constantly ask as I learn more about the algo.

I recommend testing on various servers before going live. Servers and brokers and changing slippage and also removing sessions that bring in the most drawdown.

Currently holding two licenses and plan to hold more as needed.

Never used something like this before, but decided to gamble on it because of the 30 day money back guarantee. Results have been better than expected and I am now at the 90 day mark. One great thing about this product is that the developer is also the customer support so you never get canned answers and can ask anything.

Been using the candlesticks set file by the way.

This EA does work out of the box.

My extra advice use global filters = true

But like anything else, without knowledge you're might be in trouble.

The more you know, the more you get out of this EA.

I always get very helpful answers, but you have to ask the right questions.

My suggestion is read the manual first.

Been running Flex OOTB successfully for a couple of months till then. A lot of the market conditions changed since Feb 24, date it started the series, including Occidental sanctions against Russia...

OOTB, risk at 0.2 (low) it generates up to 5 martingale trades 20pips apart and then waits till it reaches 35% DD on Balance to trigger SL and close all. Just did that. Started at 1.34395 long and ended at 1.31725 (-322 pips). No safety net besides max DD. Yet it missed a normal close aon 25.02.2022 6:29am at 1.34936 as it indicates in the backtest. Missed it by 0.6pips on my broker. Very close but not good enough. Next 35% account balance gone.

Then whilst I ran OOTB on 4 different brokers, I only had this disastrous series opened on one broker. Lucky me! That's because EA calculations are dependent on when EA was originally started or reset. It uses CSV files to carry forward its analysis despite MT4 being rebooted. So a same strategy could generate different results depending when EA was launched. So expecting same results as that on MyFXBook is iffy.

Hedging features are available but not setup. Shared experience with support...

I discarded USDJPY, and set risk to 0.1... will see.

My confidence in this EA strategy (not EA) is gone. Tried back testing OOTB and other .set on USDGBP and USDJPY. None passed a 2 year timeframe with decent RR ratios using identical setup on both pairs.

Very concerned on how it will handle Russia default or any other major 500pips + corrections with no retracement, on whichever pairs.

Highly recommend. People often get greedy with EAs which leads to accounts being blown. Set on default OOTB and let it play out and do it’s thing. I’ve done this and been collecting 3% - 10% per month with realistic drawdown. You can do a lot with this EA but so much is already provided by Steve and the community that you’re honestly at a massive advantage compared to me back in 2017 and it was amazing even back then! Plenty of up to date and verified Myfxbook profiles provided by Steve and the community to verify everything that’s been said. The settings used are also provided to achieve said results.

Only thing I’d highly recommend for newbies is adjusting the max number of charts you allow Flex to trade at once depending on your account/leverage size. Of course, this will effect profits BUT it’s done me proud :)

I bought the latest version of the EA a few days ago. I have a lot of problems with the configuration but I get little assistance. Since yesterday it has become impossible to access the official website and the emails do not start because it seems that the domain no longer exists!
