As for not charging swap interest, they will stop you trading if you try and do what Preston explained. They call it interest arbitrage and it is not allowed. Overall very poor service. You can do better elsewhere.

Marketiva platform SUCKS big time. They even stopped accepting PayPal deposits. Not that I was going to deposit some more with them, but that makes withdrawals through PayPal impossible too. Their charts are garbage, can’t even move them around or look at more than one at a time. Support is awful, phone support is not there at all, so if you computer crasher and you don’t have a stop in place, too bad. Slippage is there for sure and it took me a while to find out where are they hiding also. There is no contact information on their site for them what so ever, but I tracked them down they are in Switzerland, but are incorporated in British Virgin Islands. Beware for the safety of your funds. Just my 2 cents.

I like to trade with Marketiva because no overnight interest charged and u can trade as little as 1 cent. Fast deposit/withdrawal through egold and ebullion and great live customer support. :-)

I would not trust any company with no background info. I had asked to see who or what is behind the company before depositing funds. No response. I believe there is some type of long term scam here. Something is not right compared to other brokers. Also it is a bit strange that you can open an acct. with no I.D.

This broker is very bad. Talking if slippage, I never had any stop loss close where I wanted it to. If you set it at break even, it almost always closes -1 or -2 pips. When a major news release happens like ECB rate decision, all trade is immediately locked out. There is no trailing stop so if you want to manually trail your stop loss to protect your profit, you can't. Likewise, if you want to close in profit to avoid losing to whipsaw, you can't. On several occasions I've had a +30-40 pips trade end up in negative due to being locked out. The same excuse every time. "Oh, we had a DDOS attack then". Likely story. Be very careful with these guys. They are out swarming every forum with the same, tired Marketing Slogans pushing the free $5 to sucker you in. And to top it off, they charge you $8 to withdraw to egold. Oh, and the charts a way too basic. Even Marketiva traders use Metatrader 4 for charts instead of Marketiva's. You can't even draw a simple trend line! Stay away from Marketiva. Besides, there are other brokers with better spreads, physical offices and all the required legal licenses etc to carry on a brokerage business.

I just went nuts in Marketiva. I set my StopLoss at a safe level of +5 for my G/U trade. Because of the news G/U jumped. My trade closed -25 !!!! Speaking about SLIPPAGE!! I remove all my money immediately. DONT TRADE THERE!

I think it`s a good start point for a beginner. I wonder if anyone take out from this firm more than 10,000 $.Is there is anyone? Please, if you know someone write here. Oh, it`s a little suspicious that intratrading things. If you think , they can do a big time loose over a night, when you sleep. And the next morning, you can take a look at a chart, specialized for your account, with big bearish line and with a big hole in your account.... Thanks folks.

I really like this broker, you get 5 USD for joining, that really helped me to start in live trade. I got my questions answered always in time, and they provide support in spanish that is important to me. =D I can select the quantity i wish to trade and i can use E-Gold to deposit/withdraw so im happy with them.

Great for learning. You can live trade a few cents at a time from the free 5 dollars they give you. When you are confident, go elsewhere.
