Feb 11, 2019 - No Rating I have not contacted the tax people as yet, but I have asked CarterFS for details of their compliance, and advisors, for which they refuse to divulge.
I do know that you only pay tax once you have received money and not before.
CarterFS have also stated the following
" The capital on your account is there for trading purposes only. You cannot cover costs or fees with it, as it cannot be pulled out and used for external services"
They have probably a cleverly written clause which states that once you deposit funds with them, you can never recover them. Possibly not illegal, but misrepresentation.
Feb 6, 2019 - No Rating I invested some money with CarterFS in November 18.
I made an initial deosit by credit card, some £1k, and this was apparently invested to return about 2 x initial amount.
They repaid my initial amount by bank transfer.
I then had some confidence, and invested about 2 BTC with them.
Some more crypto was further invested with them.
Now I want to withdraw, at first, the rep was reported "off sick", and no one else could deal with my account. I then sent e.mails reporting them to Bulgaria financial authority, which gained an immediate response.
They want to resolve the situation, nut say they need me to pay tax upfront, before returning any money.
I have said this is a no no.
They are reviewing the situation and reverting to me.
