Jan 22, 2023 - 1 Star DON'T USE SWAPSWOP.IO

After researching, I found that the legal entity behind the exchange "SwapSwop OÜ", registered in Estonia, doesn't have the necessary licenses for providing virtual currency exchange and trading
services in Estonia. This is a big red flag. Additionally, the owner of the company, Anton Egorov, is from Russia. Unfortunately, I discovered this information too late, after my money had been stolen.
It is likely that the exchange is operating a scam scheme from Russia.

My experience: I sent a small amount of BTC to test how it worked. Then, I sent 1 BTC and my funds were frozen with the explanation that the BTC "probably" came from illegal activity.
However, according to the AMLbot, the address was of medium risk and closest to low. The exchange asked me to pass KYC and provided a NO-NAME verification service.
I requested that my BTC be returned, but my funds were refused without explanation. I couldn't find any mention of freezing client's funds or the obligatory to pass KYC in the Terms of Use.
It appears to be a typical, copied terms of use found on the internet.

I highly recommend that you DO NOT use this exchange to avoid losing your money. It appears to be a selective scam scheme.

I would also like to draw your attention to the TrustPilot reviews, as well as the reviewers who have only 1-2 reviews. This is suspicious and likely to be fake reviews created by bots or cheaters/fake accounts.
