Unable to trade because they froze my account
Service use: Live
Length of use: 0-3 Months
I received the email below yesterday. I have redacted the sender's name and my account number. Apparently they want me to deposit money so I can withdraw my money. This email was sent from a free email account (eg gmail). I have exchanged a few emails with this individual. They want me to pay a 'risk fee' to unfreeze my account so I can continue trading. I had never heard of it until I read the article written by ASIC.

I am fully convinced that I have been scammed. I will not deposit any more money and will seek to recover money deposited into this broker, although the chance is not looking good.

hello
My name is XXXXXX, the financial manager at Rist Versos.
Under the provisions of the broker platform and the international money laundering law agreement, the account will be listed as risky accounts when the trader's individual account reaches $50,000.In order to confirm the authenticity of your account (XXXXXX), our broker platform temporarily freeze your account, suspend you from continuing investment transactions, you need to pay 20% of the account funds as a risk fund, and then make another account withdrawal to confirm the authenticity of the account.
Risk fund payment process:
1: You need to deposit 20% of your MT5 account as a risk fund, which will timely enter your MT5 trading account.
2: After the completion of the risk fund payment, you need to submit the deposit entry application and submit the risk fund remittance voucher.(Please note the risk fund)
3: After the risk fund payment is completed, please submit a withdrawal in time. We will review your withdrawal application in time and thaw your MT5 account.
After completing the risk payment and withdrawal process, the system automatically identifies your account as a real transaction account, and the account returns to normal.
Excuse don if it brings inconvenience to your life.
Have a happy life and a good work!

Scam and fake broker
Service use: Live
Length of use: 0-3 Months
They wiped out my account by putting trade on it which I am not aware and I changed the password of platform so the Money manager do not have access to it. They send me an email that they rejected my request because there was no fund. I am not sure how they access my account, through server or a Robot ( I did not installed any Robot). They run a sophisticated scam through Instagram and Telegram Channel by a money manger on gold named Coco Chen which shows fake results to put the money in and for a week they show the positive results to be to good to be true, not even a losing trade, and ask you for more and assure you that you can take your money out and if you don't do that thy losing trade will start and when I find out that the results which she is publishing is different than my account I closed all trade and changed the password. I had $1792.96 when I asked on September 8th to withdraw m initial account. On September 9th until noon I was checking and the money was not send and the balance on my platform was still intact. few hors later I did check and there was no money o platform and showed only $2.67 balance. I checked the History and there was two trades ( 1 lot buying BTC and 0.05 Gold which wiped out the account) which I did not put and I am not sure how they managed to go to my account. The girl Channel in all platform is disappeared and I received an email today that my request was rejected because there was no funds. My reply was rejected, because you can not send email to them, because such a domain does not exists, according to Microsoft delivery system. There is no address of company, no phone, no email and they don't ask any documents to put the money. There is an on-line chat which told me that their place is secret and the person name that they give me is Li Da Ye if is a correct one. $1552 was stolen in a week and I contacted NFA and they said that they have a basic membership and are not subject to supervision and this is just a how for scamming more and more people. Don't put a penny inside and stay away from Coco Chen gold trader which had a channel under YMX Professional Gold Trader in Telegram which is disappeared too as well.
