Zulutrade scam and trade manipulation

Service use: Other Length of use: 6-12 Months
Hello guys i am making this post to warn people who are planning to use zulutrade as a signal providers and a signal followers.

I signed up on zulutrade as a signal provider and successfully managed to get in the top 30 in the rank, it was a long road to get there and i managed to reach it with a 90% profit winning trade. This is my signal provider account: https://www.zulutrade.com/trader/396760/trading

Yesterday i had managed once again to close most of my trades in profit on my Mt4 terminal account, but i noticed the trades i closed in profit on my mt4 terminal were left open on the zulutrade platform. here is my mt4 terminal account history which shows the trades were closed in profits (click on images for fullscreen):

And these same trade were not closed on zulutrade platform o_0

I contacted their zulutrade support and explained the situation and provided evidence which clearly show the mt4 account was running, and all most these trades closed in profit, they claimed my stp account expired which is absolutely false.

Confirmation with my broker fxopen account , account is running fine.

Today i received an email where they totally ignored all the relevant information i sent them and they are practically telling me to close these trades directly from their own platform manually when these trades were already closed 24 hours ago in profit .... They know fully well the trades were closed in profits were also supposed to be closed on my follower account. They have decided to ignore evidence and facts and want to claim that the mt4 account was not linked when 2 days ago it was working fine... First they claim the mt4 account was expired and now they want to claim it was not linked.

When a company is willing to manipulate a situation to benefit them financially this only mean their have done it before in the past.

Unethical

Service use: Live Length of use: 0-3 Months
I followed Hidden Treasure for a months. This trader has a demo account and makes rules everyday and then changes them without warning. He says he will set a stop loss and then decides to change his mind the same day. So many have lost money with him. Zulu Trade should not allow this to happen and all signal providers should be trading with real money. Hidden Treasure does not care about everyone losing their money. It's unbelievable that this is allowed to happen. Very unethical and untrustworthy company.

Dear Ciara,

Thank you for taking the time to express your opinion.

Following your remark, we would like to say that Traders may revise their strategy through their strategy description or their social page.
For this reason, users are able to request an update from each Trader regarding the strategy status through their social page.
Additionally, we have certain trading restrictions that have been placed having the users in mind with the only goal to prevent the Traders from unnecessary risks in their demo accounts which could damage both our company and our users financially.

In all fairness to the trader, he has a second Live account for almost 2 months and when he made the changes, he always informed his investors through his social page.

In the trader guide, which you could see in the following link https://www.zulutrade.com/trader-guide we have the following part:

ZuluTrade values the safety of its Investors’ capital as an utmost priority. For this reason, Traders who apply abusive trading behavior, introducing high risks to their Investors, will be examined carefully and if deemed malicious, they will be refused compensation and may be banned from future use of ZuluTrade’s services.

Nevertheless, ZuluTrade has also developed a number of tools to help Investors, such as:
-ZuluGuard
-Automator
-ZuluRanking system
-Statistical data
-E-mail notifications
-Backtest (Simulation) function
At ZuluTrade, our main concern is the best interest of our users, which is why we provide the incentive to Traders to be profitable (eg. We do not provide commissions to Traders for months with Negative Monthly PnL).
As you can see, ZuluTrade is for everyone and the best use of the tools that we provide may increase the safety of your account and the profits obtained.
Our purpose is to ensure that the client has a positive copy trading experience as this makes ZuluTrade one of the best Copytrading and social trading platform in the business.

Once again, thank you for your feedback.
We really appreciate your contribution and suggestions like yours can only help us to improve.

Best regards

looks like scam company

Service use: Live Length of use: 3-6 Months
i am a trader on zulutrade, finally after some time i got an investor.
first 2 trades were not completed and not copied to investor.

zulutrade is responding on 1 trade: somehow investors broker did not place the trade because of too close SL/TP level. HOWEVER, this trade had no SL/TP set. They can't explain why, because it is on brokers platform.

2nd trade were not copied to investor because of how they say "this was a pending order that was copied on the investor's account, but it was canceled by Monitor My Account, as it did not enter the market, before your trade was closed". My trade was AUD/NZD sell at price 1.08064, max pair price was 1.08208, this is 14.4 difference. All they said was this "Investors and traders have different trading conditions. investors pay extra commission that might be included into rates"

just dont waste time guys

Hello Suirad,

Thank you very much for sharing your concerns and comments as it helps us see whether we are on the right track.

If you could provide us with more details on the issues emerged during your trading experience with us, we would be happy to investigate this further.

Meanwhile let us clarify the overall picture on how signals are broadcast on Investor Accounts. It is true that different types of accounts have different trading conditions. Even if a trader and an investor are using the same broker, there is a possibility for discrepancy in results. The reason for this is that when linking an investor's account to a broker, the spread, commission will be increased by broker, which is not applicable for the accounts linked as Traders.

This may lead to various cases when a signal gets a rejection.

For example: A trader places a pending order at price A, but this price is very close to the current price on an investor's account, the signal will be rejected due to the proximity. Please bear in mind that:

a) the price on your trader's account might be different from the investor's price due to the increased spread on the investor's account
b) the signal is normally being processed within 1-3 seconds, and during the high volatility, the price on your investor's account may significantly move.

For this reason we recommend our traders to place pending orders or update stop/limit values with the price which will not be proximate to the current price on a broker (including the additional commission on the spread up to 3-4 pips), as otherwise, it is inevitable to experience such rejections.

Moreover, we have implemented the Monitor My account safeguard measure for all of our Live Investors, which if selected by the user intervenes in all similar cases and proceeds closing the trades in order to protect the Investors’ account from an unforeseen drawdown. You could check all the cases for which the Monitor My Account safeguard function will intervene in the following link
https://www.zulutrade.com/monitor-my-account-cases

Once again thank you for your comments.

Kind regards
ZuluTrade

They don't pay commission to trader

Service use: Demo Length of use: 6-12 Months
I am a trader, on May 2, 2019 I request a payment of $ 109 commission and they say zulutrader will pay within 60 days but as of today, July 30, 2019 - 88 days, I haven't received my commission yet. I think with such a small amount of money that they don't pay, other traders will be tricked by them too. I advise people to stay away from Zulutrader, don't waste time on this broker, they are big scammers

Good traders if you can find them. More data tools needed

Zulu trade often get mixed reviews because it is a home for many different traders that you can follow. Some traders are good but some are bad. That is not Zulu trades fault. As a trader we must use the data that zulutrade provides and analyse to find the best trader to follow. The data provided is good but I would like to see an improvement in the zulu trade algo that ranks the traders. Some of them are clear martingale traders and that will catch out newbies.

But if you stick to trader with long history, low draw down and small stop loss then you can get some good traders. Often they are ranked over 50+ so it use the filters provided.

I would also like to see a wider range of brokers that you can use for signal provider.

Hello Vitals,

Thank you for your valuable comments, as they assist us to both monitor and improve the quality of our services.

We would like to emphasize that our Traders Program is open to any user who wishes to share his trading strategy with the ZuluTrade Community. That is to say, there are indeed Traders with less attractive performance. However, we have developed search filters that Investors can use in order to find Traders based on custom criteria: ROI, Investors profit etc.

Your suggestion to improve the ranking algorithm will be definetely reviewed and considered by our developers for future implementation.

Moreover, we would like to remind you that we also offer curated Traders’ Combos which are dynamic combinations of individual Traders, constantly monitored by ZuluTrade and updated to ensure maximum performance.
By selecting Traders’ Combos, Auto-Trading becomes easier, faster and safer.

With regard to your suggestion to expand the list of brokers available for traders, kindly note that we are happy to integrate all collaborating brokers, however, in order to implement this option, brokers should first approach us and make a request. If you like , you may communicate your suggestion to your broker. Once the broker addresses this request to us, we will arrange the integration.

Once again, thank you for sharing your comments with us!

Best regards,

Hello Karthick

Thank you for expressing your opinion. We would like to clarify that ZuluTrade is in no way "scam".
In fact, we have gone out of the way to develop tools to help to protect our users’ capital. And as you can understand, the accuracy of the Traders’ performance data is our utmost priority.
We have used top-notch technology to (re)design our ZuluRank algorithm, in order to get accurate data and stats directly displayed on our website so as to facilitate our Investors to select the Traders that best reply to their investment needs.
ZuluTrade is for everyone and the selection of Traders is made upon details, which are automatically and quickly reflected on the Traders’ public pages.
Regarding the Ranking, ZuluRank system takes into consideration factors like:

- Maturity (how long this Trader has been trading for, reflected in ‘Weeks’)
- Exposure (how many positions might be open at the same time, reflected in ‘Max Open Trades’, the 'NME' required etc)
-Drawdown (how many ups and downs the Trader’s historical performance has experienced, reflected in ‘MaxDD%’)
-Performance (overall pips earned, average pips per trade and other performance metrics)
-Their social interaction with their Investors (frequent updates of their strategy, replies on comments posted by Investors copying them etc)

Of course, the list is not exhaustive, so as you can understand, the competition is fierce.
We wish we could further investigate your complaint, however, since you have not shared your username with us, it is not feasible.
We thus invite you to contact our Support Team, by either chat, email or phone and we will check on your complaint without any delay.
Thanks again for sharing your opinion.

Best regards

Hello Adam,

Thank you for expressing your opinion about ZuluTrade.

However contrary to your remarks, ZuluTrade is licensed in Europe and it fully complies with the European regulation which does not leave any room for misinterpretations.

As for your comment-feedback regarding our Affiliation Program, we would like to point out that the Program lists more than 35K partners, closely monitored by our dedicated Affiliates Desk. We have set up strict rules and guidelines with the aim to ensure that the values of ZuluTrade will be respected by those who will decide to partner with us. These rules have been clearly communicated with all ZuluTrade Affiliates.

Most of our Affiliates offer very well designed websites containing useful information, educational videos and tutorials that will help their audience discover ZuluTrade, register their account and set up their portfolio. They offer trading educational material aiming to maintain a very high level of customer satisfaction.

No commission is earned on an FTD basis, no benefit for the Affiliate.

Moreover, as we mentioned above, our dedicated Affiliates Desk team constantly monitor and evaluate the Affiliates, supports their effort and ban those who fail to comply with the established rules. Although the Affiliates are independent Marketers, they always must respect, comply and follow the guidelines of our Program. However, as you may understand, it is not feasible to have control over the net so, it could be that something has slipped our attention. In this case, we invite you or anyone else to report to us any abnormal marketing activity from any ZuluTrade promoter and we commit that the necessary actions will be taken immediately.

Finally, you mention that you failed to connect your account to ZuluTrade while you communicated your problem with our Operators. We cannot see how we can help you since we do not have any contact details from you or something that would facilitate us in confirming the validity of your comments, as hundreds of accounts from more than 50 Brokers worldwide get connected to ZuluTrade on a daily basis without problem.
We welcome you to contact us at "qualitycontrol@zulutrade.com", should you require further clarification on our reply.

Best regards,
The ZuluTrade Quality Assurance Team
