As mentioned, I funded an account with them and after two weeks felt uneasy and withdrew my money. Then I tried to refund and found out they were having problems with the Swiss government. I guess I was just fortunate and my timing was right.
I believe that unless a miricle happens all the people with deposits or funded accounts will only get a small portion or even nothing back. For me it was a good lesson learned for sure.
I will never use another company outside of the USA again for as long as I trade. I still find it hard to believe how this guy con'd everyone out of their funds.

Well, I appear to have understimated Aleccoh - despite posting just a few days ago in the TSD thread about the possibility of customers getting refunds, others less-gullible, have found that Aleccohfx is bankrupt - http://www.ebk.ch/e/publik/insolvenz/aleccoh-fx.html - moreover, they have contacted the liquidator, who has confirmed this fact and also said that all customers that submitted funds via the Lebanon bank account have little chance of seeing a penny (I fall into this category, thankfully it's just $500...), those that submitted via UBS Geneva should contact him with proof that they were customers. Whether or not Aleccoh has lost money as well, it is absolutely clear that right up to the present date, he has continued to tell lie after lie - so I am rating this as an outright scam...

First, let me say I'm incredulous that this broker still has a 4-star rating - it has 'frozen' it customers deposits,is under investigation and unable to accept new customers, yet still one of the highest rated!?!?!

I am another customer, who believed Aleccoh's hype and opened an account. From the outset, I found it difficult to get info via AFX Support - always prompt and courteous, but incredibly difficult getting direct answers to direct questions, and there was never additional info volunteered - first red-flag! I then decided to check out the Managed Accounts service and was absolutely dismayed to find that the 'Aleccohfx Trading Team' is little more than automated Martingaler and Scalper EA's - and at a time when Aleccoh himself was on a personal crusade to try and convince people that scalping was 'illegal'. And did you know that Aleccoh also made most of his money from scalping - this 'illegal' form of trading! (see TSD thread for details). Anyway, after 2 months of watching this 'one-step-up, two-steps-down' trading - yes, the overall result was net-negative - I withdrew most of my deposit, a month or so before 'meltdown'...

However, even though this fiasco is several months old now, Aleccoh or Aleccohfx has yet to send me ANY information as to what actually occurred, despite repeated emails to his personal email address, and apparently, I am not the only one - how un-professional is that!

I haven't rated Aleccohfx as a scam as I don't believe Aleccoh would have the smarts to pull this off - a broker has to be pretty incompetent to lose control of his own funds...

these bastards hosed everyone. otherwise they would answer calls and emails. should have known by their ridiculous execution times and constant changing of their policies. mr. alex a**** you will get your reward.

Aleccoh claimed he is victim too,Cali do you received spacevision law suit document from Aleccoh,i have signed the joint sue document and already sent out,i have bank in USD4,000.00 to Allecoh on Jan 2008.I am one of the victim too,please be contact each other about the new progress.tangailin@hotmail.com

and how to go on now? how to get the funds withdrawn? this cant be serious. i never would have opened an account with specevision! and aleccoh did his job with them...all that smells too strange!
