i usually Give my opinion here at Forexpeacearmy , based on my personal experience, i got My Withdrawal just a while ago so the Avatrade is Not a Scam but yes they are Terrible for One Reason and that is either they are completely ignorant People who are part of the Administration , those people Dont even Know that their Demo accounts are different From Real Servers.
Or they completely Lied to me when i confirmed this thing more than three times , now i got only 5.6 USD loss , after 113 trades , broker Real account has following problems.
1.They have stop hunting.
2.They have much less Slippages but still they have but always say that their Demo also have slippages but that account literally does not have any slippages.
3.Execution is completely different at real accounts from Demo.
4. either i place 5 pip SL or 1 pip SL , my EA always recieved errors from brokers for Invalid SL...what a pitty , broker does not even accept 5 Pips SL with only 3 point spread of crude OIL? shame on you avatrade
5. they dont want you to scalp in real account , but in demo they are less strict.
this is a honest review from a hard work trader, i am a extreme scalper , my advice to scalper stay away from these liers who are sitting in the administration if they really Lied to me...or they are completely ignorant of demo account characteristics.
now a memebr of Avatrade will come and will answer my this review...but before you put your mouth anything against me , Just go and talk to your Administration and teach them if they are ignorant Or stop them if they are lying.

AvaTrade is scam fraud and theft since its foundation in 2006 which was then called avafx.com.

AvaTrade is banned in more than 20 countries including Belgium and Poland.

The CNMV of Spain sends a report lying to the judge to protect AvaTrade.

AvaTrade loses to WIPO or WIPO the domains avatrade-afectados.es, avatrade-afectados.mx and estafavatradetrade99.com.

AvaTrade steals from me using its most widespread methods of theft the helicopter and the AvaPartner.

this app is not for a long term investor. They force pre defined levarage, charge you swap every 10 days, account manager was not honest or up front about details until i started losing money recommending i put more, instrument details do not pop up in an obvious place, educational videos are not all relevant (e.g. lot concept), details about the trade do not include % of specific trade against total equity

Is it not fair to warn the trader before executing? To warn this app is for active investors? To display leverage details after trade is open?

I can go on and on. This app is for advanced users who want to be active traders, and can read through the indirect scams

Be aware from this broker.Avatrade is the wrost broker i see on the internet. i have a 10 year's experience in forex and doing this with many other brokers and some days ago i try to open an account here with avatrade. i deposit 1100$ in trading account and made 1600$ profit. i withdraw my all profit from this broker.
today i open 2 standard lots in EUR/USD 1 by 1 and both trades are running in profit i try many time to close my trades but the error occured "Off Quotes" "Off Quotes" i try my best to close by laptop terminal and than mobile mt4 but i am unable to close.
i than try to chat with support and they told me to wait for some time while they check the issue and meanswhile i called them on their given number. nobody was there to listen my case.
my account got blown and i lossed 1100$ with this s***** broker because of "Off Quotes"
they are pure DD (Dealing Desk) broker. they dont want you to get profit from them. they just want your loss. they just want you to loss with them.
i withdraw 1600$ from them that's why they do this with me because they dont want me to withdraw more profit from their broker's . please i advice you to stay away from this broker. i will post my issue with all forum to aware the people, what they are doing with us. they are cheater's

I opened an MT4 account with them.
I deposit money but never appear in my balance.
I sent many times mails to them (at least 10) but they don't answer me.
I've tried to talk with live chat but after a pair of hours waiting they just say me that somebody will call me. After 5 days nobody call me yet.
Finally I tried to contact them by phone. After 2 days having no answer I can talk. The first thing they said me is sent a mail (I've sent more than 10) After say me again that they call me. I explained her that they told me that already. And after check my account said me that it is not verified when I uploaded 4 times the documents. After all say me: Sorry I can't help you.

I opened an account with Avatrade in Feb 2021.

They gave me the telephonic call and asked to increase balance to get more profits.

I deposited 7300 dollars and able to withdraw only 1100 dollars. Rest they scammed with me. While I was doing trade there softwates mt4 and ava trade it was hanging many times which caused losses of my amount

I request for return of my amount 6200 dollars.

Avatrade is a fraud company. Abhishek their agent calls from UAE mobile number registers me. Amit their account Manger advises trades. They will show you profits, get you to invest more and more and then lose all your money. I lost my hard earned and even borrowed money a total OF USD24200. I live in Dubai, UAE. BEWARE FROM THEM DO NOT INVEST WITH THEM. They use web based mobile numbers to call and whats app wherein you cannot call them back.

This broker don't have good reputation when it comes to fast withdrawal payouts. i placed a withdrawal which according to their policy takes up-to 10 business working days before it hits my account. Today is exactly two weeks since i made that withdrawal and i am yet to receive my funds. they keep coming up with one excuse or the other, first they said monday was a national holiday, yesterday they said the issue was with my bank and that they'll send me proof that they've sent the money, i've been waiting for that proof now for good two days yet nothing. my account manager has not replied any of my emails regarding this issue since it started. this is so unprofessional and very bad. i'll do everything possible to get my money.

And that's why I'm attentive to everything new and unusual, because it can help to learn something new and master some new strategy.
I have been working here not so long. Before that I tried other companies, but all the time I faced some troubles. Everything seems to be fine here. At least I had already withdrawn money here and I saw that the money came to my card the same day. This is great news.
I have tried different terminals here, in general I can say that they are similar, but I feel more confident with MT4.
And trading calculators were also useful for my statistics.

Frankly speaking, I haven't spent a lot of my time choosing a brokerage. I just openned a list of brokers and have chose, literally, the first one I saw. That brokerage was AvaTrade and now I'm trading with it for 2 years already. Was my choice the best?
I don't know, as I never tried other brokers. But I know for sure that I never had any regrets about my choice. Maybe it was a little random, but I'm happy that I've chose AvaTrade. And that's why:
1. Regulated. No comments, just basic thing for every brokerage. Ava has everything good with that.
2. Spreads. For example, EURUSD is around 0.7-1.1. I think that's quite okey, like any other regulated brokerage
3. Education. Now I don't need it, but in the beginning of my trading, that was really an important point. Education is divided into 2 sections: for beginners and professional trading. I can't call it 'the best one', but I learned a lot with it. And analytical blog is also good, analytics isn't too freequent but always up-to-date and covers the most important daily points, so I like it.
