5 star review by javisman, Mexico

I've been trading with pepperstone for some time, maybe over a 1 year, and so far they've been a great broker in all matters. I don't have any complain so far. But what worries me a little, is the fact that my account was transferred, from Australia into another country, I didn't know it existed, Bahamas maybe or something like that. And I don't know how safe is that and it's implications. If Pepperstone could explain me, or us, a little what is this about, please, maybe I'll feel completely comfortable.

No complaints here.

Service use: Live Length of use: 3-6 Months
I have been with Pepperstone since May 2021 and I have no complaints so far. I have had a few issues but they were related to my mistakes and Pepperstone quickly helped me troubleshoot the issues.

The 5PM ET rollover spread is similar to most brokers I have tried and even though they are wide and I have been stopped out many times it is just a part of trading we all have to understand that liquidity is low for approximately an hour each day so remember to widen your stop loss during that hour or risk being stopped out. Outside that one hour the spreads are tight unless there is a major financial news release which can widen the spread gap but that is expected with trading.

I am on the MT4 platform and the positions I enter trigger quickly with no missed quotes.

Depositing money is easy and there are numerous ways to fund instantly so no complaints there.

Withdrawal of funds is one thing I can't review yet as i am using the account to grow not an income. I don't foresee this being an issue as it is under ASIC and the funds are segregated.

The additional education provided by Pepperstone meets my expectations. I love Chris Weston's daily e-mails which gives me a good perspective what to look out for in the near and long term.

I love the fact that you get personalised service from one of Pepperstones trading specialist. If I ever have an issue I have the trading specialist direct line to discuss any issues I encounter and if he can't help me he will do all the hard work chasing up the correct department to resolve my issues.

All in all I'm extremely happy with Pepperstone. A few more instruments would be nice on MT4 but I believe MT4 has a limitation when it comes to the number of instruments so maybe out of Pepperstones control. I do understand MT5 has less limitations but a number of my indicators and scripts aren't coded for MT5 so I'm limited to MT4.

Finaly Lot of comunication with them I have recived my funds

Service use: Live Length of use: 0-3 Months
I have received my funds with a lot of effort in email communication
Finally I have received my money.

Apr 23, 2022 - 1 Star I am very very disappointed with their withdrawal services

When I asked to live chat agent they told me they charge only $3 per transection fees so I will receive $9997 for $10000 withdrawals But For a withdrawal of $108000 USD in USDt and I Received only 101813.9 USDt only they charge $6186.1 for process my withdrawal

The next day again I made another $40000 withdrawal and got only $37897 they made a charge of $2102
I didn't see this much of a charge in any broker

I raised ticket to support they given me replay below

"Thank you for your reply.
Your withdrawal of USD has been converted to USDT at the live conversion rate. This rate is subject to fluctuations as it is a live conversion.
We can see that your previous withdrawals were converted from USD to USDT at the conversion rate of 1.0608.
Any discrepancy in the amount sent by Pepperstone and the amount received in your USDT blockchain wallet address may be due to blockchain transfer fees which are out of Pepperstone's control and we do not receive the fee income from these charges.
If you have any further questions, please let us know.
Thank you for your understanding.

Conversion rate they mentioned never happen since USDt inception

Lost faith and trust in this broker

Service use: Live Length of use: over 1 Year
I used to think and even believe that Pepperstone is a good and trusted broker and I have been using them on-and-off since 2010. BUT, my last experiences with them a couple of months back or so has left me less than satisfied with how that broker has evolved through the years. Their Islamic account is not Islamic as they charge an "administration fee" if trades are left opened for a number of days after their "expiry dateline." Trade commissions are immediately deducted from my trading account balance.  Positive daily swaps are changed as negative daily swaps without reason other than blaming their liquid providers.  More small little thingsvhappen here and there, all of which go against their clients' best interests. All of this is very difficult to prove and so subtle that most of them will go without notice.
Long story short, Pepperstone is no longer the same Pepperstone I used to know and trust.  It has been removed from my list of trusted brokers and I strongly advise against using them as a broker.

Pepperstone blocked me because my traders were winning!

Service use: Live Length of use: 6-12 Months
My account won 10% and Pepperstone sent an email to stop my Account.
"As I can see you have been informed via email that we are no longer willing to offer our services to you. Your account has been closed as per our discretion as you do not suit our risk appetite. Risk appetite is the level of risk that an organization is prepared to accept in pursuit of its objectives. In this case your trading and account is determined to be outside of it and for that reason we have decided to close it."

Unable to withdraw my money out of Pepperstone

Service use: Live Length of use: over 1 Year
It is very disappointing that I can not withdraw my money despite me contacting their customer service over and over again. I am trying to withdraw my hard-earned money using the same credit card that I deposited, but my withdrawal status has been stuck as "processing" for some time. I hope they return my hard-earned money back to me.

$9,600 deposit not credited and won't do anything to correct it

Service use: Live Length of use: 0-3 Months
I sent a large deposit to Pepperstone using USDT TRC20 to exactly the wallet address that they provided, have sent proof that the transaction was successful with over 200+ confirmations, have provided the transaction hash id and everything that proves that I sent the money in but still no positive outcome, proceed with extreme caution. All they say is that they are looking into it. They responded that I need to contact support...what do they think i have neen doing the last few days?

Leverage limited to 1:30

Service use: Live Length of use: over 1 Year
I've using Pepperstone from 2017, it was one of the best brokers on the market, I've made and lost money in a fair manner and was always proud of this broker regardless of my losses or wins. It was all good until recently as they've decided to limit my leverage to 1:30 which makes it close to impossible to trade, I'm not even given an option to change leverage on my accounts. I tried contacting support but they were about as useful as their leverage.

Very Fishy Way Of Functioning

Service use: Live Length of use: 6-12 Months
I used Pepperstone's live trading account for about 6 months. I had hedged my trades which were in loss yet they just stopped me out of all my trades. After stopping out the trades, my equity should have been a certain amount yet the final equity was less than 5% of the final free equity. I suffered losses in 6 digits which could have been avoided in just 2 days. Avoid this broker and find a better company.

Stay away from Pepperstone.

Service use: Live Length of use: 0-3 Months
I have an EA attached in a real account. The EA is doing good. so to stop him to work correctly they stopping the internet connection. I was chatting with their support for an explanation and he told me that my internet connection was down.
Unfortunately I had two other platforms opened in my computer and they did not loose internet connection. Was at this point that the support disconnected the chat.
If you want a good broker stay away from them and avoid their market manipulations.
