1world aka Jack Walsh and co is shut down by the FBI & CFTC. Jack was arrested. I lost just over $2000... I think my uncle lost about $30,000...

I wired USD$5000 to them just two weeks before they went broke.

Fortunately and oh so lucky, my banker in Australia NAB, could not process the wire correctly and they money was returned to my account.

I did loose the fees and currency transaltion involved in making the transfer, a small cost relative to the capital outlay.

We lost $43,000. What we didn't understand at the time is that this industry is not regulated by much of anything. We thought that surely our government would have some safeguard it place to protect our investments from be stolen. This man stole our money and does not appear that he will have to return it or receive any prison time for his deeds. You would think that you could lose your money if your investment goes bad, not someone stealing it. But we are not giving up. We are still unsure as to the best way to find out if brokers are sound or not.

These guys are out of busines--under capitalized--shut down by the CFTC. I am out "only" $1100. Should actually be rated as a SCAM, but I will leave that for others. It took several attempts to receive a 3k withdrawl, but I finally did receive it not too long before they were shut down. Go here for the latest information:

i made a deposit with 1wf last year, one month later i got many warning emails about them, i didn't have problem withdrawing some of the money, they kept working normally until suddenly the accounts are no longer valid and inaccessible and their website closed.

How can this broker be rated 2 stars - they were a scam and have gone out of business without returning any clients money!!! The website has disapeared, they don't reply to emails - they are gone. I am lucky that thanks to Felix circulating that note last year showing broker assets and advising that the NFA was increasing asset requirement, I withdrew most of my funds straight away and got most of my money out. The first I knew that the company had closed up was when the trading platform would not work. In the months since, their has not been a single note advising of what has happened to all of the clients money?

THIS GUY'S ARE UNDER THE NFA AND WENT OUT OF BUSINESS THEY KEPT MY MONEY AND DIDN'T EVEN SEND TAX INFORMATION FOR THE FISCAL YEAR!!

I deposited 10k, a month later my account was at 30k. I tried to make a withdrawal, but they said (Jack Walsh) they will only let me withdraw the initial deposit. I was lucky enough to get back my initial deposit from them, other people lost everything.

It took a while to set up the account. They were very slow - and it took over a week to actually get the account opened. Once opened, the bank transfer was initiated late on a Friday afternoon - and the account was credited the following Tuesday morning - which was very acceptable.

So far, we haven't tried to make a withdrawal. Hopefully, there will be no problem. The software seems great - the transactions are executed quickly - and as desired.

No real complaints - other than they do not appear to be as business-like in their phone skills as others. But - the interest is great and paid daily - and we have had no problems.

If we can make withdrawals without difficulty - we will continue to use them.
