You should not have to pay ‎€1000 in order to cancel the chargeback. It is a ridiculous amount. Don't cancel it. Definitely guilty!

There could be other factors such as bonuses received or other commitments that we don't know about. I agree that it looks guilty but would like to have more information about the account.

This broker certainly looks guilty. One thing about this case looks strange to me though. The language used in the email from Midasglobe to FPA is perfect English, however the language used in all other emails quoted by DavidK is very poor. Something is not very clear here.
