EA seems interesting but also expensive. This EA trades on the EUR/USD pair only as I can see? I have not so good experience with EA trading on one pair. If it loses track in a trend the DD is huge.
Perfect off the shelf, most probably not and fully agree that if you create something like that you keep this for yourself of sell the formula for bags of cash. On the other hand, some 'good' ideas are on the marked but you have to find and manually monitor them on a daily basis.
And again over...
I think you are right about TheForexGeek reviews, or at least some of it is true ;). I ran Robotron last year for 3 month of so.. I doubled my account easily and then I had a 100 pip SL lost trade. That was very strange because it produces only winners and 'some' small losers. Bit of a worry for...
I'm picking up Robotron again, for two weeks now and it seems quite alright. New released version V28 is out. EA scalps on 6 pairs and gains some pips on almost every trading day.
A small selection of EA's is performing right and yes you have to monitor them all the time. Spread you profit to different accounts and keep them quite low. I never had a blown account but that was also because of intervene manually.

So 1179 pips is a approx a month.. No losing days and DD is not high..
Seems quite alright. Please keeps us posted with your results.
A lot of new set files and a new version of Flex is released recently. At the Flex forum some guys having some nice result with backtesting these files.
This an interesting point indeed. I noticed some serious DD and stopped the EA for some days. The DD reduced and I changed the setting to 'conservative'.I will try it for a while....
