Does anybody know where one could find statistics regarding the effects that various news releases have on pip movement?
For instance, I'd like to be able to see how many pips (on average) the market moves if unemployment claims are x amount higher, or x amount lower than anticipated.
Please spare me lectures on 'past performance not dictating future results' and what not. Not looking for any golden rules, just some stats to take into account when trading the news.
