That's a can of worms. Depends what you are looking for.....
Please try to select the correct prefix when making a new thread in this folder.
Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.
Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"
Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"
Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"
Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.
More info coming soon.
I agree, FCA licence may be reputable but it doesn't compare to high leverage. I've also seen that a lot of these big brokers have Seychelles licence so I don't think that would stop me from trading with a broker with FSA licence. Lately, I've been hearing a lot of M4Markets and I'm actually thinking about them as well. Has anyone else tried them? Is their withdrawal process fast?I’ve asked myself the same question actually. I haven’t traded with this M4Markets but I have accounts with XM and IC Markets and both have a Seychelles licence amongst others. It seems that that’s the go-to offshore licence for decent brokers. I personally wouldn’t be interested in working with a company that has only FCA, for example, simply because I like to be able to trade with a leverage higher than 30. I would also stay away from anyone with a St Vincent or Bermuda or Belize licence. It’s not my personal experience but I’ve heard pretty bad stories.
I hope this helps!
Yeah especially when we are talking about the same FCA that somehow allowed HSBC's dirty money to slip through the netI agree, FCA licence may be reputable but it doesn't compare to high leverage. Yeah, but the broker I'm interested in is that new that doesn't have any reviews. There’s so many out there it is difficult to know which broker to use, I would just look at some reviews of ones you’re interested in.
That’s a difficult one then, just be careful.Yeah, but the broker I'm interested in is that new that doesn't have any reviews.
