Also on the 8th of September, Denis Kulagin, our head of International Development department was first to speak at Financial Industry Expo forum on Xi'an. In his speech he addressed the topic of modern IT in the financial sphere.

Denis Kulagin, the head of International Development department:

"I'm honored to open this expo's forum. This gesture from our Chinese colleagues is a sign of respect towards Grand Capital and emphasizes our long history of mutual trust. I think our Best ECN Broker award is well deserved, as in many aspects this service was being developed with consideration of wishes of our Chinese clients, who value fast transactions, high liquidity and other extended features of accounts. It's not our first expo in China and again we reminded of the importance of communicating with our partners. Together we outlined the principal directions for our development in China. We are planning on continuing to work in this region and one of our highest priorities right now is a new office there."

Grand Capital received Best ECN broker 2017 award for our new ECN Prime account for professional trading that was introduced this summer. This account was designed to provide access to the market of high liquidity and immediate order execution. It means that a trader's requests are always executed at the market's best prices regardless of the circumstances.

LAMM reward system becomes easier

Starting from October 1st Grand Capital changes the reward system for LAMM accounts. Previously LAMM managers were required to select a type of reward, by a trading period or by each trade. However, this system left investors with a lot of questions. In order to make trading more transparent for investors and more easy-to-grasp for both parties, we decided to abandon one type of reward and completely switch to the other, reward by a trading period, i.e. reward for total amount of trades of the investor for a certain period of time. For instance, if a manager selects a 24-hour period, they will once a day receive the commission for a client's trading on this day. Managers can choose the period length individually. The shortest period available is one day.

All managers who now use "commission for a trade" or "percentage for a trade" reward systems must contact our client support before the 1st of October and set the desired period length and reward percentage. Those who fail to do so before the October 1st will be automatically switched to 0% reward percentage.

Contact our support team by phone +7 (812) 389-66-79, by email info@grandcapital.net or via online chat on our website.

Interview with contest winners: “Successful traders take risks”

The winners of our contests are quite sure that a successful trader spares no expense on education, is always ready to take calculated risks and listens to more experienced traders. Read the opinions of the three of our most recent contest winners. Who knows, maybe their stories will help you to get to the top. Read, learn and dare!

Natalya Filliova, Russia, the winner of 201th round of Rally Trade

"I often participate in trading contests because I like the competitive spirit and the emotions associated with it. I tend to choose shorter contests. That's why after I won Drag Trade I decided to try Rally Trade and now I finally made it. I think I won thanks to a good AUDUSD movement, I managed to place the positions in time and it all worked out. The hallmark of a successful trader is a huge amount of time invested in education, That's why I advise the beginners to learn and make calculated decisions."

Tadeusz Kubala, Poland, the winner of 202th round of Rally Trade

"I'm 61. Until recently I owned a business, but now I work at a factory. I started trading about 10 years ago. I always liked the field of finance. Forex is very popular in Poland. I think the reason is that the technology education here is on a high level. I mostly trade USD/JPY, USD/CAD and EUR/USD. When I trade I alternate between technical and fundamental analyses. For example, I won this round thanks to the latter: Canada's GDP went up 0.3% this June and I figured that Canadian dollar would grow stronger.

All in all, financial market trading is not a very difficult thing. The real art of trading is in controlling your emotions. At the same time I think that a successful trader doesn't shy away from risk and has a strong spirit. I chose Grand Capital because of low minimum deposit, low spread, the absence of requotes and the safety of funds. My advice for the beginners is to deal with stress, not to be afraid to change your strategy and set adequate stop losses."

Ebrahim Nejaddarzi, Iran, the winner of 385th round of Drag Trade

"I'm 41 and I'm a teacher. I've been trading for 10 years. At first, I used to lose a lot, but now I focus on money-management and risk management. My most memorable trade was at the time of Brexit. Then I profited a lot from selling the GBP. I use a combination of moving average 55 and Ichimoku. I trade mostly USDJPY, GBPUSD and EURUSD. Demo contests help to understand the market better. I won this round thanks to fast decision-making. But the beginners should only make decisions based on thorough analysis of the situation and not on intuition, and learn from the others' experience."

Grand Capital launches the first blockchain-based secure Forex marketplace

Grand Capital has been providing online trading services for over 10 years. During this time we became a prominent member of the global broker community. Participation in major industry events enabled us to compare our own experience with others. We analyzed the current situation on Forex and binary options markets and realized that the industry needs to change as there is still no means for traders to feel secure on the worldwide scale, when working with foreign brokers.

We teamed up with our tech partners from UpTrader and set out to solve this problem. Now we are ready to present Serenity Financial, the first blockchain-based secure Forex marketplace for traders and brokers. Serenity acts as an intermediary that controls both parties. The platform utilizes modern technology, including cryptocurrencies and blockchain, which ensures the integrity of all trades and withdrawal transactions.

Funding of the platform will be as transparent as its operation. We invite everyone interested in the project to participate in Serenity Financial ICO. Pre-ICO starts as soon as mid-November. Learn how the platform works and read about the ICO on Serenity Financial website.

Denis Kulagin, Serenity Financial CEO:

"Serenity is a unique project. It has all the potential to change Forex market and solve a lot of problems traders face. Serenity uses blockchain technology to record all trading and non-trading transactions. The platform stores funds and provides liquidity to brokers. It's Forex reinvented, a united, secure and honest Forex for everybody."

The project is already supported by a number of brokerages and fintech companies which are ready to act as both partners and participants of the project.

Dmitry Rannev, one of Forex pioneers and CEO of Rannforex:

“I've always stood for transparent Forex. The project aims to increase transparency on the market, hence I support it. The idea is quite interesting and I think that it has all chances to evolve into something great.”

Follow the news about Serenity on Facebook, Twitter, Medium and Youtube.

Interview with contest winners: "Everything that happens here depends only on you"

Among the recent contest winners are a water supply company employee, yoga teacher and a future Master of Laws in Taxation. The common theme of this interview round-up is that experience helps. Learn not only from your own experience but also from the experience of others.

Oleg Zharskiy, Russia, the winner of 204th round of Rally Trade, received no-deposit bonus of $500. Oleg had already won Drag Trade contest before.

"I'm 54 and I'm a junior manager at the city water supply plant. My work schedule allows me to spend time on my hobby, which is Forex trading. Although in summer I'm usually distracted by other things, and the Internet access is awful at my dacha. I've been constantly participating in Grand Capital contests. I think that all these contests are great, each in its own way. I joined this round and started trading only three hours after the contest began, but I won nonetheless in the end. Although to a large extent I won thanks to the opponent's mistakes, who took the second place. Late in the contest he got nervous and started losing. Can anyone become a trader? I don't know. The important thing is to like it, if you're not interested, you're not going to get very far. Before I begin trading, I read analytic reviews for about an hour and choose a strategy. I pay attention to indicators in my trading terminal. I will continue to trade. After all, experience comes with time."

Marina Zorina, Russia, the winner of 57th round of Future Trade, received no-deposit bonus of $1000.

JfCYp.jpg

"I'm 38. I teach yoga and I like to travel in my spare time. How did I get into trading? I was looking online for a job or just a source of extra income. So I was introduced to the currency market. I've been trading for about 10 years. Last year I managed to triple my balance when the market was very volatile. It was a great achievement for me. At first, I had lots of difficulties, of course, both with learning how to use trading software and with understanding the points of entry and exit. In this contest, I used indicator-based strategy. When I trade on a real account, I usually base my strategy on the channels lines, intraday support and resistance levels. I like that Grand Capital offers various contests, both for demo and real accounts. Future Trade is a demo contest, meaning the money isn't real. It's important since not everyone has a couple hundred dollars to spare from a personal budget. Still, a market is a market and no one can provide you with guarantees. Everything that happens here depends only on you, and on your skill and experience. The contest is a great opportunity to earn a decent income without any investment."

Christoph Schneider, Austria, the winner of 389th round of Drag Trade, received real $200.

fKVJK.jpg

"I'm 26. I study economics at a university and now I'm working on my Master's thesis, it's about the influence of taxation on transportation prices. I started trading three years ago on the advice of my friend. It seems to me that in Austria and Germany people are less interested in investing in financial markets than in other countries. Everyone here is very cautious about it. Trading is a proper analysis of data. If you want to achieve something amazing, you have to follow the news and choose a correct strategy. I attended a couple of courses on finance as a part of my education, so I learned the basics there. But mainly I learned trading on my own. I started with combining short-term and long-term strategies. Surprisingly it brought results immediately. For a long time, I engaged in intraday trading and traded binary options and DAX CFD (Germany's major stock index). Recently I got interested in precious metals, coal and Russian stock index. It's because I think that there will be a correction soon on American and European stock markets. When I choose a broker I pay attention to the range of offered trading instruments. And, of course, the possibility of trading small amounts with a low spread, since my funds are not so big yet. With Grand Capital, I trade Russian stock CFDs and metals that aren't offered by other brokers. The most important for beginners is a good risk management. Place stop orders and make sure that your account balance stays liquid, it helps you react to unforeseen circumstances."
