can anybody please give me information on what is ment by 40% retracement on the signals

I'll guess you are referring to news signals, but I suppose this could happen with other signals too.

To keep the math easy, let's say the signal called for a 100 pip movement, followed by a 40% retrace. If things go according to plan (which can happen on rare occasions), price would move 100 pips, then pull back 40 pips (40%) before whatever is supposed to happen next occurs.

The first thing is that you should be doing your trades in the Demo accounts and see how the signals are and which one of them is giving you income
