According to one of the investors who filed cases, on 18th November EG lawyers showed up and asked for settlement and a settlement is scheduled today the 8th at Dubai Courts? Do you or your lawyer have any info on this?

I am not aware of this actually. What do you mean by "EG's lawyers showed up and asked for settlement"? You mean they were asked to refund investors?

From what I understand, couple of investors have obtained a "final judgement" from the 'court of appeal'. The final judgement was not appealed by EG at the "Court of Cassation", and hence application was filed by Judgement Creditor (Investor) to the "Execution Court" for enforcement. The "Execution Court" gave a 15 days notice to Judgement Debtor (EG) to make payment. EG Lawyers advised Execution Court on the 15th day (18th November) their intent to make settlement and the "Execution Court" scheduled a settlement hearing on the 8th of December (Yesterday).

Any news on settlement which was supposed to happen yesterday???

EG Lawyer yesterday said "they are not ready and want to get another hearing for settlement"; although the Investor's legal counsel did not agree, the case was set for another hearing.
Kindly bear in mind that all of what has been stated above is not first hand information as I am not the plaintiff, but rather my understanding from the discussions with said investor who has filed a court case.

@nikel7 I am wondering why your legal counsel is not able to obtain first hand information from the Dubai Courts as they are very much in the capacity to seek and obtain information on the suits against EG.

Hi Omar..thanks for your detailed response...it's really helpful for others..I hope court will not listen to EGs **** in next hearing and go for execution enforcement...

My lawyers have told me that the case won on the 12th of october is not the final execution, but it's the first appeal case. Exential had 30 days to appeal to the court decision. This has never happened and now the court will notify Exential Group about this first case.

I am now waiting next steps from the court.

Based on my understanding of court procedures, a "decision" by the "court of appeal" is considered "final judgement" if EG did not file an appeal within 30 days. Upon the expiry of 30 days, your lawyer should have filed an application to the " Execution Court" for enforcement of the "Final Judgement". The "Execution Court" notifies the liable party to make payment within at least 15 days from the date of the actual service of the notice. If EG fails to comply within the 15 days, the court will/can enforce judgement through legal measures including 'attachment orders'.
It will be helpful if you could talk to your legal counsel and get clarity on the status of your case.

LMFAO - not only does he openly put his name and phone number on the site registry - if anyone doubted the link between the two companies (EG and this new scam) he even puts the support email as 'itsupport@exentialgroup.com' and all addresses to Arenco Tower.

How was this guy smart enough to run a scam in the first place?
