Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.
Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"
Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"
Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"
Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.
More info coming soon.
I tried opening an account on the website and for Country of Residence Belize was not an option. So I called the local number and someone who sounded Indian didn't seem to understand what I was asking before saying, "What is your country of residence"? I replied with the question, "Which country is your company regulated in,?" When I had to tell her Belize she put me on hold for 3 mins. I then called back and received the same lady. I asked if she had found the answer to my question to which she hung up on me.
Something is definitely fishy with this broker. If you go to the website you can try it yourself. Belize is not in the dropdown menu yet they are regulated by the IFSC and have a local land line phone # here.
The advice is to trade with a broker regulated in your country so that if you have any problems you can seek compensation by going to the regulator. Maybe they don't want anyone calling their bluff. Some brokers are actually registered in Belize. That might be a problem where they dont accept local residents??
