I run this EA on three accounts (2 demo, 1 real micro). It seems that its performance is not as good as it used to be after the version was updated to 1.1.2. Similar with the result of FPA EA test. Does anyone who still uses the old version have better performance?

I bought & installed this EA on a Tradeview demo account with $10,600 in it. It made nothing but four losing trades in 2 days on 8/11 &8/12. No action since then. I'll give it some more time, but so far, not so good.

I am using this EA since about 3 months and can say that it works. Sor far its is one of those EA out there that really works and winning trades are more than lossing (about 70% winning trades) It doesnt trade much often (3-6 times a week) but depends on market conditions. You can install on many live account you like. There are no restrictions.

Don't know what happened my first review, was filed under www.forexhitter.com which is how it is marketed. I notice the there is a discussion forum link to 'forexbeater', has this website been recycled???

I bought, downloaded and have run for a while, currently overall is losing money but its early days & within expected backtested performance drawdown.

However what is a big red flag is I proceded to backtest on all available data & found that it is a long term loser. The backtest shown on website is a recent performance of last 2 years which appears to be curve fitted. If this was tested on previous data it is a bad loser with nearly 100% loss of equity!!. My concern is if this is curve fitted it is not going to work soon in the future.

Finally, a real clincher, changing the backtester settings eg take profit, stop loss etc DOES NOT CHANGE THE BACKTEST RESULTS! Seems the settings are ignored hence must be hard coded but this is not indicated in the instructions. RED FLAG!!

I ran this software for 2 weeks and never traded. Support never was there. I did get my money back. There is better software out there than this.

I update my rate, have some weeks in real account testing, results are not good really, if you love your money dont use it...

2008-07-18 3 Stars For me is Ok I bought the EA some days afo results in strategy tester not GOOD!, but real working looks be good, I think the EA have long term good results.

Definitely one of the best EAs currently on the market - while other programs only bring you losses, this one does make a buck for you instead. Forex Beater's low cost and simplicity is what has helped it to win the market. I was truly stunned when I saw my deposit double during the very beginning of the test period. The profit rates vary, but once the software opens a position, it always is a sure bid. This has been probably by far the smartest investment of all I've ever made in my life.
