I only had a short stint with MIG Investments(about 8 months). I had to withdraw my money due to personal reasons, otherwise I would've stayed with them. After submitting my withdrawal form, the money was transferred to my bank account within two days. Not bad if you ask me.
During my time trading with them, I never had a problem executing orders. Every once in awhile I'd get a requote for a market order, but for limit orders, it hit exactly as I wanted each time. The requotes were not a big deal, by the way, as I am not a scalper.
On top of everything else I can say, their customer service is top-notch. They were always friendly and willing to help. Plus these guys are about to possibly become a swiss bank. How much more legit can you get?
Once I get back into it, I plan to use MIG again.

4 years trading with them. great service.
Im quite sure that people that complain, its just because they dont know how to trade. period.
Requotes? just now and then. Never lose a penny because of that.
Response? quite fast
Spreads? great spreads, even on low liquidity/ high volatily situations.

Bottom line here: execution of orders is the worst I have ever experienced. I'm not a newbie. I have 4 different broker accounts that use MT4. I also have had an account at MB Trading, as well as $35,000 with a large Currenex broker. MIG's is by far the worst execution. Even in non-news, non volatile times, orders just sit there and hang forever. I don't have that problem at any other broker.
This lousy execution has cost me money plain and simple. It might be one thing if you get a requote really quick when you click "buy" or "sell." But just to GET the requote can take up to a minute. Then of course the price has moved way beyond what you originally tried to exit at.
MIG display low spreads, a fancy website, and I will admit they have courteous and competent representatives. But who the heck cares if it's a lousy trading environment? What good do low spreads do me if I can never execute orders until the price has moved 20 pips against me? Basically add 20 pips or whatever to the spread and that's the real price you're paying. They may be really good in some other areas, but execution is what it's all about as far as trading goes in my opinion, and they are lacking in that area.
I have reviewed several brokers here before, and this is the first time I have ever given a 1-star rating to a broker. But maybe this will help someone else avoid some grief, as bad execution is not something you can really know about until you trade live.
Best wishes...

If you intend to demo test their MetaTrader 4 client, I would encourage you to look elsewhere. Their demo server hangs from time to time. There is nothing wrong with my Internet connection as I'm running another MetaTrader 4 client from GoMarkets and the currency pairs update with no problems.

They are real fast to close your position when you are taking a loss but REQUOTE after REQUOTE when you are in a profitable position. Had 7 requotes on Sept.4 with EUR/JPY, just for one example. That is how "blackbox" brokers operate. Bottom line: don't trade with brokers who use the "blackbox". You can't win. Why else would they use them?
I've been live with them for over a year. Never had a major problem (minor ones quickly resolved) and they certainly have never 'stolen' a penny from me!
Spreads are good, and execution of trades is instantaneous. Very good broker!

I am with MIG from April 2007. Yes, there were some requotes when I was trading GBPJPY in July and August 2007, but it was a volatile time, so I don't believe this has anything with bad intentions.
Also when I set TP and SL on my orders, everything got filled correctly to the pip, even as the market was very volatile.
I might wich for the SWAP rates to be equivalent, since I like to hold positions for longer periods (months).
Last year I traded intraday most of the time (and lost money), but for me it's long term that makes the profit it seems.
I am very satisfied with customer service, communication with the company.
For me they are good.

Best research team! Best customer service! I have no bad things to say about them. This is one of the fastest growing fx brokers and they are changing their branding structure to become a Bank, which tells me they are sensitive about their reputation. I would recommend to take another look at MIG to those that are negative on them.
