Stay away from these guys. I just came to know they did not have a two year history as they claimed.

No wonder these rookies did not know about OSC registration.

1 star for : apparently no sign of life for 4 months. (luckily, they don't charge monthly fees for doing nothing).

I joined QuantFx the end of the first week in April, and on April 12 received the message pasted below. the short message is that they were out of compliance with Ontario Securities Commission requirements. A couple days after I received this message, they sent out another broadcast to their customers saying they expected to have the issues resolved "shortly". That was three weeks ago, and calls and emails to my account manager have gone unanswered. so they get one star for customer service. Luckily, our account had not yet begun to trade, but I can't help thinking about all their other customers (they had been in operation for over two years) who had open positions at the time they had to close down. Here's the message from the "QuantFx Team":

QuantFX Status Update

The Ontario Securities Commission (Regulatory Body - Ontario, Canada) requested us to stop trading due to the fact that might require us to register with them for full compliance, therefore the trading is paused while our legal team assesses the matter. This issue should be resolved shortly. We'll keep you posted on the progress.

I've invested with QuantFX recently after looking around for forex account managers, found them through a friend in Toronto, where he had an opportunity to visit their trading floor. These guys have their own office space, support staff and trade around the clock with traders spread out through multiple time zones. I'm not looking for 30% monthly return, my preference is for much less but stable and long term.
