I found Steve by accident. I purchased his course in 2014 and loved it. From the live class that he conducted I know this fella know his stuff and walked his talk.

I was planning to take up fx trading fulltime that time when live events made me change the plans. Now I am continuing my plan to trade full time and I looked for Steve website.

Unfortunately, his website was shut down and I could not contact him. Regardless of some negative comments, I stand my gun that Steve know his stuff and his course was excellent! Sth must have happened that he decided to lay incommunicado... Too bad!

I was also a member of his program. I was always doubtful if he was legit. He was a master of empowering speeches. His morning daily FX Cup sessions were a joke. He never personally took a live trade and instead just talked BS about potential setups or Ooos! too late setup was gone and it was OK to pass on it. His emails also stopped all of the sudden. Maybe someone threatened him or smth because he just vanished.
Well one thing good is that I finally quit Forex as I spent so much time and never found a way to consistently make money.

Its amazing how when you think you have found a person that will honor their word and stand behind their product that they turn out to be a fly by night charlatan. You got me sir and I just feel sorry for the people that really spent big money with you. People these days will hunt you down sir. You should say something or give people a heads up or refund. I won't hold my breathe though.

I don't think he is in business anymore. His website theforextradinginstitute.com where he sell his program is no longer up, and as a member, I no longer get emails about live trading classes. I still have access to archived classes at thinslicetraining.com. Anyone else know what happened to this program?

I wrote a review a fews years back and wanted to give an update to the methodology that I've been using still. It is one of the greatest I have ever had the pleasure of using. Classes are archived as well as
live classes with live markets. If you fail in this course its because you can't follow directions and or pay attention. Just for the record I don't work for Steve.

2010-01-30 5Star When you encounter something new in life you really don't have a lot of confidence from the start. The Thinslicetrading method has given me that confidence. Not only am I grateful for Steve Rising sharing this methodology and allowing others to profit as well, nut I appreciate him for being honest when that seems to be the lost gem in this industry. If you follow the rules you will not only be successful. You will be very rich. After many attempts in other scams, opps ( courses ) I lost my confidence in this market. I am 90 % and the kicker is that when I do lose it's because I am being greedy which I have now tamed that beast. The cost of the course was a stretch for me, but blowing trading accounts made this the best bargin ever. Don't kid yourself. Get the knowledge and stick with the rules and you will be successful.

I believe most of the reviews here are written by people working for Thinslice, maybe Steve himself.

I devoted most of my available time to Thinslice methodology for six months and I consider it as a total waste of time, effort and money.

First, you are not going to even figure out what the methodology is about just by watching the class on your own. Explanations are vogue, no written material, I believe it is designed to make you want to upgrade to one-on-one support, which I unfortunately did.

Whenever I asked a question, the answer always included something like “this is discussed in online class regularly, you are not listening”, which is just bulls***. What he calls discussion is usually mentioning of a topic with a single sentence. When you ask for more clarification, you will get an answer which won’t provide anything that is new. Yet still he will finish it by saying again that “this is discussed regularly on online class in detail”. If it was, I wouldn’t be asking. What he is doing is preparing you for the time when you start realizing that maybe you were fooled all along; he is preparing you to put the blame on you so that you will question yourself, not the methodology. He is doing it by trying to convince you from the beginning that you are a bad student.

Don’t be fooled by advertising in some of the reviews. On the so called live trading sessions HE DOES NOT TRADE. He mostly talks about what is happening which you can already see on the chart, stuff like “EURJPY is on the move”, yes I can see that. Then he talks about general trading stuff that you can learn anywhere else. Occasionally thought he will make a prediction. If prediction turns out correct, he will be like “you see, I told so”. If his prediction is wrong, he has the answer that goes like ”This is not the typical price action. Sometimes this happens.” I haven’t noted any statistics but I have the impression that his performance is 50%. Occasionally he will suggest entries, very rare though, mostly he will suggest waiting and waiting and waiting. Again, I haven’t noted the statistics but my impression is that his performance in this is 50% as well. He doesn’t really trade. I thought he would because of the name “Live Trading Sessions”.

I received no satisfactory answers to some crucial basic questions about the methodology and I got convinced that this was a huge waste of time, effort and money.

The Trading Institute is a value for what you receive. A lifetime of training in scalping the Forex market. Steve is not only an educator but a trader. The best part for me is he wants you to succeed with personal one on one guidance. I recommend this program to anyone who is interested in day trading. The reward to risk which a few folks have mentioned is good, once you understand and utilize the methodology effectively.

I've been training under Steve for a few months now, and I have to say, his method is really a diamond in the rough. The thing that I really like about it is that it's not made out to be some golden fool-proof software or indicator where you don't have to use your brain, claiming you'll see a 1000% return your first week. It's a tried and tested method that can be learned by repetition and lots of practice, and observing the market on a daily basis. One of the things that makes Steve a great teacher in my opinion is that he focuses just as much on the psychology of trading as the technicals, if not more, because it is so key to success.

If you're willing to put the effort into it, you really can make a very good living using his method. I highly recommend it.

I have been a client of the trading institute for just under 2 years now and cannot say enough good things about the trading methology and Steve Rising. He has not only been a great mentor but also a personal advocate to help me and his other clients to be successful in this difficult endeavor.

I recently attended my 2nd two day intensive seminar and was even more impressed as Steve spent time working with each of the class members to help us refine our understanding of his methodology. Live market action was ALWAYS used to teach his trading principles and concepts. Not many so called "experts" are willing to put their expertise on the line in front of a live audience.

Steve did and always does for all of the webinars and seminars he conducts.
