(in chronological order)
(in chronological order)
People sometimes write in to complain about the FPA listing HYIPs in the reviews. HYIPS really aren't forex, but many of the claim to be making the money trading forex. The FPA lists them as a warning, since many people who are new to forex trading can't tell the difference between a HYIP and a managed forex account.
And the nominees are...
Libertyreserveoffshore.com – HYIP
This is just another name for Tradelite, which was found to be a scam in 2008. They even copied the testimonials for Tradelite.com from the old website. The FPA always knew that HYIPs came back from the dead, and LR Offshore is the first zombie HYIP the Scam Investigations Committee dealt with.

BestFxWorld.us, .com, .net, .org., .biz, .info – HYIP
This HYIP wanted someone to put in more money before they could withdraw money. An undocumented "VIP Membership" was suddenly needed before any money could be gotten. When contacted by the FPA, Best Fx World claimed their legitimacy was proven since they were ICANN registered. ICANN registration is part of registering a domain name. Anyone can do it. Best Fx World threatened to send the FBI against the guy who complained that he couldn't get his money.
