That is quite a subjective thing and self-confidence comes at different times. As for me, I deposited decent money right after I got used to the trading platform. I had about $10,000 on my account but I traded very small lots. By doing this, I was learning money management.

I don't think that it is a good idea to try to find an account manager for your money. There is lots of scam in forex market and I have no idea how people can differentiate whether an account manager is an honest person or not. He can simply take your money and disappear.
