I second that! It would be very nice to hear Stavro's and other experienced news trader's suggestions. I'm trying out ECN/STP broker in my country ( =very low ping and always good connection), but there is always slippage on first fast step of the spike. Is it even possible that pending order...

On eurusd market did the opposite to the signal, that exactly was my point when asking about pair of choice. On JPY crosses price went nicely according to the release.

It would have been nice to get "a bit" more informative opinion and answer to my question on currency pair choice from you, Stavro, or other experienced traders. I think many FPA readers would benefit from it.

So is the eurusd the best pair to trade NFP? I had success trading USD news on usdchf and read about trading on JPY crosses (eurjpy, gbpjpy, cadjpy...not just usdjpy). During past 4 months I also noticed that trading other news then NFP on eurusd is pointless. Any opinions?

I'll just tell it here, as Boko Maru kindly told me a while ago. Google "secretfxtrading" then there is a "Daily Signals" link on the right frame. The quality standard of these free signals is absolutely amazing...I really hope to see similar free analysis here on FPA.

Asset Purchase Facility was really the figure to watch on this release.. Almost 185pip gbpusd 1min spike on QE increase by 75 billion. This aspect was nicely covered by another free signal provider..

I guess its second or third time I mention this: release comes out 04.28, not 04.30! Could you please change it to your templates this time? As we all know, all the action may happen during only 1-2 mins. Actually, this time GDP (3rd Est.) comes at 04.30, that could have been mentioned as well...

mikep, could you please tell about their execution. Have you tried placing orders during volatile market, especially news spikes? Any slippage, major spread widening..etc? How fast/reliable is the withdrawal process? Thanks!

Thank you very much for clarification attempt. I posted the same picture and everything is quite clear, no problem. Just wanted to point out that in your trading plan was to enter approx. 15mins before news..and my picture illustrates that there was no good entry point at that advised time...
