I'm Gaz, born 1961. I live in Melbourne, Australia.
I began trading shares in the late 1970's, focused on the situational takeover stock activity that ultimately came to a crashing end in October, 1987. Futures trading covered wool, trade steers, 90-day bank bills, and 2yr bonds, from the late 1980's to the mid 1990's, when I started my first company as importer and national wholesaler of a range of products. Retired from business in 2007, and have traded forex and CFD markets ever since.
The objective of TradeBOSS Strategy is to identify new price trends in the daily price chart, and ride the trend for as long as possible, to accumulate maximum capital gains and positive swap fees for carry-traders. Once a position is established, focus can be shifted from the daily to weekly price trend to meet carry-trade opportunities.
Three chart periods, H4, D1 and W1, are combined with three indicators, Twin Moving Averages, Average Directional Movement Index, and Support-Resistance breakout levels, to signal entry and exit signals. Visual confirmation, risk settings, and final trade decision is made before entry. Modify the stop loss whenever support-resistance levels change, for a logical SR based trailing stop loss.
