I would look at the 1 hourly or 4 hourly chart and focus on medium term trades e.g. 50-80 pips take profit

As an investor I would ditch Forex and focus on diversified Funds unit trusts. Much less risk and I've made 20% so far this year

To be honest I think 99.9999% of traders end up losing their money eventually. I don't know of a single trader who can prove that they are making money. Some have good myfxbook accounts but if you wait 6 months their accounts always crash

I also think the main reason is that people think it is too complicated. Most people don't have a clue about trading and markets. Second to that is the perceived (and actual) risks involved.

My goal for the next 6 months is to start making enough money to live off. I've started to make some profit and am now looking to steadily increase lot size

Totally agree. I've been from live to demo a couple of times. Even now I practice any new strategy on demo for a long time before going to demo

Very true Whitesnake. I was on demo for a few months but I wish that I would have done it for around a year. I lost money as soon as I went to a real account and had to go back to demo to find out what went wrong

I don't think we will ever move back to the Gold standard. It would take a massive international effort even speculation of this would dramatically affect the price of gold. I am not even sure if it is something that would be good for the world

Forex live is pretty fast. There was also a sqwark service that was really quick but I forgot what they are called

I doubt that the banks would ever come together on their own to do this. It would have to be something that is enforced on them.
