How do you feel about trading candlesticks / price action with just support and resistance? I don't feel this is any 'riskier' than any other method, as risk depends on your own risk tolerance and how much you want to risk per trade.

I agree, I have no idea how anyone trades off 5 minute charts, really, and chart under the 1hr time frame seems pretty haphazard to me.

Hey, I'm a member too, I agree with everything you said. I honestly don't get some of the negative comments I've seen about Nial on the internet. The guy is legit and has helped turn my trading around immensely.

The big change was the Franks-Dodd financial reform bill which dropped leverage down at US brokers to no more than 50:1. If you are a U.S. citizen you basically cannot trade with any non-US regulated brokers. So effectively your leverage is 50:1. I've also heard they are taking away spot gold...

I would suggest looking at getting rid of those lagging indicators and try trading off pure price action. It has really helped me a lot.

I agree with you, price action in gold and silver can be very good at times. It's cool that they throw in the gold and silver charts into the daily members' commentary. After all, aren't gold and silver currencies too?

It's quite a bit different, there's a lot more pairs discussed. Usually 3-4 of the majors and gold / silver, whereas the free commentary is typically only one or two pairs. Also, it seems like the member's commentary goes more in-depth and includes more of a discussion of potential trade setups...
