I would suggest "The Complete Turtle Trader" by Michael Covel. There are also amazing resources on the internet like Bloomberg - Business & Financial News, Breaking News Headlines for updates, the slideshows on Slideshare, and Everest Forex teaches you trading strategies. Happy Trading!

I would definitely agree that demo accounts are important. They are a great way to learn different strategies without loosing all your money.
