I prefer HotForex and XM, both are really genuine and popular in my country (and region). Because your account fund is small so it doesn't matter for experiencing at both those brokers.

Minimum lot size is ideal (0.01), $100 is not quite good to carry larger volume. A demo test is essential.

I think new trader should try 4 digit instead of 5 digit trading. The price could move slower and it's easier to catch the movement.
