I realised that the NFP trades in the last 6 months or so has been very erratic, not following at all what would be the obvious.
Also price action bouncing all over the place.
Better entering the trade around 2 minutes after the release.

1. Wait for pullback to weekly pivot around 1.4020-1.4048;2. Be sure that market does not fall like a stone –retracement down should be gradual;

There are reasons beyond our knowledge, but I reckon it was stops getting triggered related to a huge profit taking by major institutions.
As for trading news, I recently develop my own method that I won't even post it here, as it might sound crazy for many...
I would suggest you to watch Henry on youtube to start to get a grip on how to trade news. It's not as simple as it seems, timing is crucial.
Also it would be best if you can do it first on a Demo account.

I am curious to know if this new attack on Lybia by the coalition forces today (Saturday) is going to change the overall view on the EUR/USD. This is a whole different scenario for the area, and I wonder if now we'll see a sell off instead.
All of the above have been going on for a while, but the Japan's nuclear problem. I believe next week to be a key one, as many events will be unfolding and we will also have a clearer direction on the ECB, as speculators have been pricing in since Trichet's last speech.

What makes you think that EUR will fall to 1.18xx ? It needs a very strong political & economical reason for this to happen, and we don't quite clearly have it yet.
