There is no version 1.3 yet. 1.2 is the latest one released in August 2010.
When running version 1.2 with default settings it gives exactly the same results as version 1.1.
I see the EURJPY settings are still not fixed on the FPA demo... Luckily it's been doing well yesterday. But this skews the results considerably and gives massive spikes in the equity curve. Compare the lot size on EURJPY to the other pairs...
No, the EA doesn't check this. With the MAOpenFilter set to true it will check the 50 and 100 SMA for directional confirmation.
But I think in almost all cases the 20SMA will be in the same direction as the trade.
Yes indeed. I see there was a loss on that pair today... With the recommended settings the loosing % of EURJPY is a lot higher than with the other pairs. So its definitely a good idea to reduce the Risk setting on it. Hence the recommended Risk of 2. Compared to 15 for the other pairs. It looks...
All the recommended settings are based purely on back tests for 2010. It is not 100% optimized settings, but should give fairly good results, without having a too large risk/reward ratio. Although some pairs have much higher SLs than TPs.
