Yep I had went through pretty much the same process with bank and action fraud; I will be updating this thread if any outcomes and could you do the same? I would like to hear how your case goes, thanks

Thanks for that but my case is a bit more complicated than that; the payments were authorised so its not as simple as this and that's why its so difficult to get my bank to back me; the case is with the financial ombudsman as we speak

Yeah I've tried to get a chargeback when this happened in November but 1. I used a debit card (less protection somehow and 2. Mine is not a Mastercard; I am continuing to pursue nonetheless and I will update the chat!

Thanks for your suggestions and I will try to follow through with the bank, once again! I do believe that I am valid for chargeback with this case but it seems very difficult to get your story across to banks etc I'll let yous know on any updates on the situation

Oh and this pic above is when the 'account manager' tells me after a lot of arguing about the whole matter that "I have as of today been transferred to another dept, your account is now in the hands of..." which I believe is just more lies because nothing has happened since apart from them...
