can somebody answer how to recognize ECN broker? Is there a list of the best ones? ECN broker is usually a bank or sth? I'm trading with AVAFX and they are probably market makers since I read that they can be difficult to deal with.

glad I wasn't in this trade. the revision numbers conflicted. first number was negative for GBP adn GBPUSD still spiked up. however before the release short trend in GBPUSD was going down. looks like a leak there also.

i read that some brokers just close their liquidity during news releases.and you just can't enter the trade then.maybe this is the case with your broker.

i don't use snw... went in with avafx. however i see that they have a reputation of not paying among some traders. other traders have good experience (but you can't tell for sure that they are real traders, could be brokers themselves) ... will let you know how it worked out for me.
