Bulls think the markets will go up. Bears think the market will go down. 'Bearish' and 'bullish' can describe an individual opinion or a general market trend. A market in a long-term uptrend is called a bull market.
If you are a beginner, you should go for less investment and try trading in smaller lot sizes so that you can understand the working. Once you are experienced, you can invest higher amounts.
I generally stick to the major pairs. However, the market being highly volatile these days, we can either make huge gains or huge losses, there is no in between. Nowadays, I am trading pairs where USD is the quote currency as they have a bullish trend and it is safe to trade in these pairs.
The golden rule for trading is to have patience. You are wrong if you are thinking that you can double your profits in a single day. Trading comes with practice gradually.
