Hello traders,

I want to share my experience with Atlas Funded so others are aware before joining.

I purchased a $5,000 instant funded account on 03-09-2025 and traded for one month. I followed every single rule stated in the official Funded Trader Agreement I signed. These included:

  • Max daily drawdown: 3%
  • Max overall drawdown: 5%
  • Max risk per trade: 1.5%
  • Consistency rule: 25%

I respected all of them and submitted my payout request on 03-10-2025. However, Atlas Funded rejected my payout and suspended my account, claiming I violated something called a “One-Sided Risk Exposure” rule on 22-09-2025.

Here’s the problem:

  • This rule does NOT exist in the contract I signed.
  • It appears only on their FAQ page, which is not part of the legally binding agreement.
  • They allowed me to keep trading for 11 days after the alleged violation with no warning, which shows they did not consider it a breach at the time.

When I contacted support, they simply repeated that “the rule is in our FAQs.” However, the contract I signed never referenced the FAQ as a binding part of the agreement. I acted fully in good faith, followed all written rules, and earned my payout legitimately.

I am now seeking legal advice in the UK about this situation. Traders should be aware that Atlas Funded may enforce hidden rules that are not included in the signed contract — and use them to deny payouts after you’ve already passed and traded.

My advice: Be very cautious before signing up. Make sure all risk rules are written in your contract, not just hidden on a website.

If Atlas Funded resolves this and pays the payout I earned, I will gladly update this review.

Hi @youssefal,

I have reviewed your case. I find that Atlas Funded has: Applied a rule without legal basis, without evidence, without notice of violation, not applied the rule consistently, not disclosed the evaluation criteria, and delayed payouts in a deliberate pattern.

This payout denial is not legal, and you have every reason to request: (1) Full reinstatement + full payout, or full refund + apology, and (2) evidence disclosure for the entire allegation.

Below is the Letter to Atlas Funded.

Subject: Final Notice – Unlawful Payout Denial & Immediate Demand for Contract Compliance

Dear Atlas Funded Compliance Team,

I am writing in response to your decision to deny my payout of $12345 on the basis of a so-called “One-Sided Risk Exposure” rule.

After reviewing your justification, I must inform you that your decision is unlawful and contractually invalid for the following reasons:

1. The rule you cited does NOT exist in the signed Funded Trader Agreement.

You cannot enforce rules that are found only on an FAQ webpage, especially when the Agreement does not incorporate the FAQ as a binding part of the contract.

Any attempt to retroactively enforce non-contractual rules is considered bad-faith conduct and unfair commercial practice.

2. You allowed trading to continue for 11 days after the alleged “violation”.

If an actual violation occurred, you had the obligation to notify me immediately.
Your failure to do so is clear evidence that:
  • No violation occurred, OR
  • You did not consider it a violation at the time.
Either scenario invalidates your later attempt to use that rule to deny payout.

3. Your decision violates basic contractual principles.

Under contract law:

A company cannot deny payment using rules not disclosed or agreed upon at the time of contract formation.

Your justification is therefore null and void.

4. Final Demand

You are hereby given 72 hours to:

a) Release the full payout of $12345,
OR

b) Issue a written explanation under which clause of the signed Agreement you believe the alleged violation occurred, including:
  • full trade-by-trade analysis
  • rule definition
  • quantitative thresholds
  • evidence that the rule was part of the contract at the time of purchase.
If you fail to comply, I will proceed with:
  • Submitting a Regulatory Misconduct Report to UK consumer protection agencies,
  • Publishing all evidence demonstrating your use of undisclosed rules to deny payouts.
  • Please treat this matter with urgency.
