WARNING:  iOption does not offer LPOAs for account management.  This means that there is no broker-enforced contract between an account owner and a person brought in to trade the account as an account manager.  iOption considers those arrangements to be a private things between the account owner and account manager.  Since there is no broker-enforced contract, neither side has any simple way to deal with the situation if the other side breaches the agreement.  The FPA recommends AGAINST this sort of account management arrangement.

WARNING 2:  One of iOption's IBs, Diogo Carvalho, has engaged in long and repeated abuse inside the FPA's forums.  He created multiple forums accounts and used them to deliberately disrupt an attempt to investigate a situation where he was acting as an account manager to an iOption client.  Because of his unethical actions, the FPA is unable to determine if his counterclaim about being owed money by the trader is real or something he made up.  The FPA is disappointed that iOption has not terminated their agreement with this man in spite of his actions.

Diogo Carvalho was repeatedly warned to stop his abusive actions in the FPA's forms.  iOption was asked to try to deal with him.  Diogo was told that if he continued to act in this way, this would result in a default ruling against him.  He was told that he could communicate by email, but chose not to do so.  He continued to create more forums accounts and post abusive messages.  The FPA now considers Diogo Carvalho to be guilty on all counts.  Because of Diogo's actions and the lack of cooperation from iOptions, the FPA is not able to determine how much responsibility for this incident and Diogo's actions belongs to iOption.

Under the circumstances, the FPA strongly recommends AGAINST dealing with iOption.  We recommend against opening an account there or placing money with this company.  If you have an account there, we recommend withdrawing your funds.

MORE WARNINGS:  The FPA has heard that iOption may be out of business.  Unless this can be proven otherwise, depositing money could be the same as throwing money away.  There is an FPA Traders Court GUILTY verdict against iOption.

Unless all of the above can be resolved, the FPA strongly recommends against placing any funds with iOption.

Update: iOption's website says the company has been terminated.  The FPA considers this to be good news.

I have attempted to make 3 withdrawals from my iOption account, and of those 2 were cancelled without notice, and the last withdrawal request is pending since April 2013 (it is now almost June). The most communication I've received is "there's a backlog issue", and "It's in the queue, we'll process in a few days". But so far my money has not cleared , and my request is still pending. I've grown tired of chasing them each week only to hear the same story, and don't know whether I'll really get my money back.

I was attracted by the advertisements of Mr. Carlos Gonçalves he states that if we invest $ 1000.00 gain folded ie iOption covers the amount invested. That's why I invested $ 2000.00 in iOption
I asked if there was any problem for the withdrawal of profits and he assured me that not only that the story is different when
needed to withdraw the interest could not because it had sales volume. Then he presented Mr. Diogo, said it was confident that
I could pass the password to it and let it run on my account because he had a good strategy to achieve double my capital Mr Diogo asked 50% profit and I accepted it become possible after reviewing my money faster.
The Ms Diogo made 3 attempts and succeeded in getting a profit of $ 26,000.00 divided half and half that would fit for every $ 13,000.00. Only he changed the conversation now wanted to win more than stipulated I objected and he did not like, after all our success was on profits and not on my capital.
He claimed that he would have to pay to Mr Carlos the importance of $ 2,000.00 as a bonus for having achieved a customer.
I decided to pay this amount of my money to Mr. Carlos at no cost to Mr. Diogo. still he was not satisfied and said he would work no more for me. In all operations of Mr. Diogo my password was changed automatically, only the third Mr. Carlos has not changed the password and also ordered Mr Diogo opened two accounts in OKPAY one for me and one for Mr.Diogo
including facilitating my documents it without my permission because I already had an account at Moneybookers had no need to open another account was established sending $ 2,000.00 for the credit card
$ 2,000.00 and $ 26,000.00 by Moneybookers was trapped in my account iOption 115348
Mr Doug that it was doing everything, including account opening for me and Mr. Carlos was aware because I asked for it because it opened in OKPAY account? He said Mr Diogo knew what she was doing what was best for OKPAY send.
And that they only needed to confer the account to be able to spend the money it was about three days waiting for them to "gain time"
I found strange Mr Diego open an account for me to pass the password and proceed with the password so I decided OKPAY
change the password for OKPAY more he continued with the password iOption because Mr Carlos was already plotting coup
I could not even talk to him more Mr Diogo could and it was the spokesperson
Every day I checked my balance in iOption and continued there until the day 25/02/2013
When he was on 02/26/2013 I was talking to Mr. Diogo Skype commenting that had many days waiting and resolvir verify my account I had a scare the balance had "disappeared" as getting the balance $ 4.25 when I went in I saw that operations had moved and placed different values including Turnover was changed to $ 141,484.00
Note that Mr Diogo are operated at night and during the day he slept on the 26th day that disappeared with the money I was talking to the 14 Sr.Diogo via skype; 00 and the page that was changed that existed transactions consisted at 15:50
26/02/2013 Day if Mr verify that sheet will realize that it was "forged" and that all this was nothing but a scam
let me know how to attach the sheet to check the lords.

Further to my other posts.
I was in the process of filing a complaint with CYSEC (Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission). NOW they returned my money. SIX WEEKS to get my money.
No explanation. No apologies.

2013-02-11 1 Star It's been over a month and I still don't have my money.
After almost 3 weeks they sent HALF my withdrawal (why HALF, nobody knows!!). The rest of my money is still being held hostage. Over and over and over and over they say that their Finance dept is looking into, they are sending the funds asap, etc, etc etc.....but I still don't have my money after a MONTH!!!!

2013-02-01 1 Star OVER THREE WEEKS NOW and I still don't have my withdrawal. The money is not in my Moneybookers account and is not in my iOption account either. No representative (phone or live chat) can tell me where my money is. Over and over I am told that "the finance dept will look into this and get back to me tomorrow"......always "tomorrow"......and then no one does. I was ASSURED that finance would rectify this situation tomorrow...that was three days ago and nothing! No calls, no money.
I ABSOLUTELY DARE IOPTION TO RESPOND TO THIS THREAD HERE AND TRY TO OFFER A REASONABLE EXPLANATION! They won't, because there is NO reasonable excuse for this treatment. I don't know if iOption is a bunch of scammers or just brutally incompetant.

2013-01-29 1Star Further to my last post.
After an additional week of no funds being returned to me I contacted iOption again and again they said they would look into it....tomorrow.
Today, Day 19 of my withdrawal request, I received $1022 CAD in my Moneybookers account; sad, and very angering thing, is that the withdrawal was for $2000 USD!!! I spoke to a VERY bored and sleepy customer service rep (who answered the phone with “hello?”…I had to ask if I had reached iOption….he said “yup”) and….of course, they will have to check on it and call me back tomorrow.
I cannot think of ONE good thing to say about their service!

2013-01-23 1Star I’m finding dealings with iOption to actually be very frustrating! I found their customer service to be absolutely horrible and is the reason I am reconsidering my choice to use this broker. I found their Live Chat to be only sporatically available and when it’s not, there is no message to let you know that, you just sit on “An agent will be with you shortly” indefinitely. I tried phoning them several times and found the same thing as the the Live Chat; so much for 24/7 support. When I did talk to an agent by phone, they could provide almost no help and struggled to answer even basic account opening questions; everyting had to be referred to someone else who would call me back. I supplied my home phone and cell phone numbers but didn’t get a call back. Also, their website says they accept Moneybookers as a deposit method but it wouldn’t work until a rep circumvented the system to get the deposit in. And that took two days. Their rep offered to supply live training as well to become a consistently profitable trader BUT….they didn’t phone when they said they would, the initial calls were just to get me to deposit even more money (no training) and missed some calls all together. On and on and on….and all I have done so far is gather some info and open/fund an account. There seem to be a number of good reviews for iOption but for the life of me can’t understand why.

I have now dumped this broker as their customer service is nothing short of abysmal.

I have submitted my verification documents for the THIRD time now, exactly as instructed because the could not locate them, training phone calls continue to be non-existant with no explanation, my emails and phone calls to my account manager (a “SENIOR” account manager) are ignored, their live-chat is only sporadicaly available and when you do reach someone, it is a stunning exercise in patience as ANY question needs MINUTES to respond to (during my latest chat, I asked about a withdrawal request that was a week old and I was told “one moment”. After a 15 min silence, I typed “hello???” and the operator responded “Yes?” I had to remind her that she said one moment)sooo even what should be the shortest chat turns into a loooong one and finally….when phoning them, the representaives can almost NEVER be of assistance and continually have to “check on that” an “someone will call you back”…..and then no call-backs, ever.
I have dumped this broker and submitted a withdrawal request for all of my money. OOOOOH! Look at all of the phone calls now! Half a dozen calls in one day including some from my account manager! Seems they had my numbers after all…..bye bye broker.
PS_ Withdrawal request is over a week old and still “pending”. They say it should happen shortly…then nothing happens.

The Ioption broker is totally scam they take my money and give me nothing ,they also will take your money and give you the middle finger . If you want to take your money again you are legally can not take them again
In their website the wrote that the prices offered is the IOPTION prices and not the actual market prices but when the trade expires the applied price is the actual market prices HOW ?
How can I buy on the company price and sell under market prices
Buy and sell on market prices or buy and sell on company prices that mean they are take our money by the power of law
When you buy they offers you a price that differ from market price which may be increased or decreased from the actual price but when you want to close the trade the offers you the actual market prices . If your trade is at the money that means you lost all your trading capital and if your trade is in the money that means you will be out of the money before the expiry of the trade . All of this will be done by what called VIRTUAL DEALER PLUGIN . this software is a robot that can deal with your trade automatically to lose it .any one of you who are profitable if he will not withdrew the money immediately he will lose all his capital within a week and if you discovered that the prices are different they will tell you that they told you and wrote that Infos in their website f*** yourself
Try to be profitable and you will be loser as soon as possible
This software is also plugged in most of the forex brokers
The second review I will prove by the vedios not by images how they deal with the profitable traders
So as I scammed from them and other forex brokers I will make the cry
Good bye

I was told my funds would be processed straightaway yesterday HOWEVER it was not. Only the initial funds, $250 has refunded, BUT, not with the money I won which comes to $773.45. I am now wondering if this is a scam because it seems to me that the cash out process is always pending and is not being done. The request was lodged on 3/Jan, however its system cancelled it without my approval, then it was re-lodged on 8/Jan by their system, and it was 11/Jan yesterday, which was NOT what their claimed 5 business days process! They've cancelled my initial withdrawal and re-lodged it on the 8th so they can delay it and this was what I felt.

I have made several contact with its support staff in previous days however the experience is just remaining unpleasant. Currently 4 emails, 4 live chat sessions, and I have conversation log with me.

Most importantly, regardless of what matters, its staff has made a precise promise that my withdrawal be completed by yesterday, NEVERTHELESS, it is NOT done! Fooling around I am angry!

I feel like to open a court case NOW.

I started trading with ioption.com from 11.06.2012. Initially i was given a 100 USD no deposit bonus. I managed to grow that account to over 250 USD from the free 100USD offered to me. But because of my over confident and over trading i lost them all.
Again i deposited 200 USD on 22.06.2012. With good trading strategy i managed to triple my deposited within 10 days. I requested for a withdrawal of 400 USD. My withdrawal was processed within a week. Now i redeposited the 400 USD back in my ioption account. An additional 200 USD is credited in my account as bonus again.
I had been a forex trader for the past 2 years. I had never felt much comfortable like trading with ioption. I dont find any problem with their trading platform. Their price feeds has been absolutely fine.
The customer support has been one of the greatest i had ever seen with ioption.com. Mr. David Porter, my account manager, has been so friendly and spontaneous in replying me. Overall i give 5/5 for my trading experience with ioption so far.
