Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

I see that the only means of recovering the lost money can be done with patient and practice. Develop a trading strategy that can provide you consistent profits and test in the demo platforms before jumping with hard earned money. Good money management with ideal planning can certainly recover money, just that give some time to that "time"

Yes it's one way to recovering money lost on scamm broker, we should choose broker that has reputation and we also make sharp trading skill with always practice on real market condition or demo account because if we can making good profit hence money will come easily.

However forex business is included as risky business, and high risk business, sometime trader joined on scamm broker, but sometime they joined on good broker but fail in trading and losing money eventually, so as early preparation, just spent money that afford to lose to avoid bankrupt when fail in business

I need to know how one can recover the money from Trading/Broker as i have lost substantial amount of money..Is there any agents which work on commission based as i can pay only once i get the funds.Any help will be appreciated.

Regards

You don't have to pay money in the name of RECOVERY, If someone says you have to pay some % after we get your funds back then you can share your case details with them (this is my personal opinion).
Do you know anyone who works on that pattern?

Besides a chargeback, your changes of getting funds back from non-regulated brokers is next to impossible.
Remember that most of these entities are offshore and regulators have zero interest in helping you. Any type of private attorney / legitimate recovery agent would charge $100K+ to go to trial on a global scale. AT LEAST. These services make me sick as they are just trying to take one more stabbed at already-scammed victims.

Be safe.

I have had some very bad experiences in scams in both binary and forex. I have lost hundreds of thousands of USD on a number of web sites:

optionbit.com
vix500.com
slstrasdes/forexprime.pro

I want to try getting some of it back through legal means (I've got all I can through credit card providers). Has anyone had positive experiences with lawyers, particularly in Israel where most of these scammers seem to be based.

I have seen claims of successful recoveries through Birman Law and Haggai Carmon. Has anyone had any experience recovering monies from these firms? Are there any others lawyers that others could recommend for recovery of money from scams?

Phil

Phil, please stay away from Birman Law and Wealth Recovery International. Biggest scammers around. I know of several people who paid them a retainer (including myself) and they did absolutely nothing and do not respond to any questions. Look in FPA. There are plenty of posts about them. Also Haggai Carmon is fishy. He did not want to take my case and it involves a couple of hundred thousand dollars. He had some vague excuse.

The website mentioned by thread creator looks suspicious by their names. It is always advised to start with reputed firm and don't fall in trap of high bonuses given by such non regulated companies.

Did you manage to get any of your stolen funds back? And did you pay a fee up front? I've been contacted by a "recovery agency" who claim they can get me some funds back from binary options scams but they want 10% up front before funds are released which makes me extremely skeptical. Are any of them legitimate?
I am more than happy to handover a large part of the monies recovered, after monies have been recovered. Unfortunately the recovery process is such that I also need to pay money upfront. This is a huge problem for me - I have lost so much and I have other debts becoming due that I am risking bankruptcy to find the funds even paying 3% or 5% upfront with the risk of no return.

These recovery agency websites (I see new ones everyday) are such a joke. All stock images with no real names and no real office.
Hire legitimate legal firms and that's really only worth it if you lost at least €250K as real attorneys would never work to recover funds for the tiny fees these "recovery agents" charge.
