Finally MD trade after long break. 10pips!

Something odd started happening today. I put MD 1.21 on a chart today and right away it opened a trade at 3 pm Eastern time. I stopped it a minute later. I thought I'd leave it on the chart and just happened to check it again and then it did it again, opening another trade at 3:40 pm. Both trades were in the negative. At that point, I removed it.

Anyone else have this happen?

Help me understand: you put MD on the chart at 3:00 and it immediately opened a trade or MD opened a trade right at 3:00? Yesterday it opened 2 trades (on 2 different brokers both running 1.3) and one hit 10 pips very quickly (17 mins) and the other is the one I got stopped out on with a 71 pip loss.

MD 1.3 - 2 trades today: FXDD +7 pips, IBFX + 15 pips. Good day.

Do others run MD on multiple brokers too? I thought it may be good for diversification purposes. If you are, please share the brokers you use that have been best. Thank you.

Help me understand: you put MD on the chart at 3:00 and it immediately opened a trade or MD opened a trade right at 3:00? Yesterday it opened 2 trades (on 2 different brokers both running 1.3) and one hit 10 pips very quickly (17 mins) and the other is the one I got stopped out on with a 71 pip loss.

Yes. MD 1.21 was not authenticating, and when it finally did at 3:00 pm it opened a trade immediately. I stopped it, and it opened another trade at 3:40 pm. I stopped that one as well.

Hi Littlepip, unusual that MD opens a trade outside of his Trading Window. But a while ago a guy within another thread had that too. And nobody knows why.

3:00 pm whose time. MD 1.21 shouldnt open any trade before 5:00pm NY time, 9:00 pm gmt.

Tue 9/21 MD 1.21 opened a sell trade at exactly 5:00 pm, 9:00 pm gmt, and close it 16 minutes later for a 10 pip profit. A perfect Megadroid trade.

Wed 9/22 MD 1.21 opened a buy trade at 6:45 pm, 10:45 pm gmt, it closed at 8:00 pm, 12:00 pm gmt, with a 5 pip profit. An unusual profit amount for MD. I'm not sure what triggered it to close the trade. It closed on the opening price of the 8:00 candle.

These trades were on FXDD, using v1.21 Aggressive False. These are the only MD trades I've seen on this account in a while.

My demo accounts v1.3 have seen quite a few trades recently, and they all took this same trade, at the same time on 9/21 at 5:00 pm. All are set Aggressive False.

Yes, MD 1.21 opened 2 trades, both in the 3pm EDT frame. One as soon as it authenticated at 3 pm. I stopped it. The 2nd trade then opened at 3:40 pm EDT.

MD 1.30 also spontaneously opened a trade as soon as I put it on the chart, sometime around 6 pm EDT.

Ahhh, figured out why MD was spontaneously trading. I was also connected to Zulu. Disconnected from Zulu and attached MD to the chart. Zulu's connection triggered the trades.
