Hey... Can anyone shine some light on the flux I've been watching on the EUR/USD from today? I'm on MT4 w/ Tadawul looking around 1100 to 1900 GMT on the M30 chart. Are you guys seeing the same things? If so, what is causing this volitility?

So.. after doing some reading through FPA and seeing that there is a definate need for a high quality, non-US based FX brokerage that isn't run by crooks... I'm curious. How does one start a brokerage firm? I mean... if crappy scammers can do it, then it can't be that hard, right? Thoughts?

Option 1: Wouldn't do that... if all of a sudden you have a $10M increase in assets in one year.. the IRS will have a field day with you. All in all, not a bad idea but sadly, all of our government entities talk to each other. (Except for law enforcement and intelligence bodies, go figure)...

Exactly the reason why Frank and Dodd have no place making rules over stuff they know nothing about... people are going to have to do end runs around useless legislation in order to make a profit equal to their international counterparts... I have a feeling there are going to be more offshore...

I'm reading through this thread, so if I am redundant at all, pay no mind. If there is no definition via the CFTC as the difference between major and exotic.. then couldn't each broker make every pair a major pair if they wanted?
