Thanks for that - but I did try that approach, as Nathan said that is what they would do - ie the services were not as described - but got nowhere. I'm in the middle of sorting out the debt I owe at the moment, once that is done maybe I will think again about MCB. Thanks for the heads up
Well I'm glad to hear that - and Nathan certainly sounded genuine. But I didn't have the funds to pay their fees at the time anyway - and two Visa card companies, Tesco and MBNA, have made it clear they refuse to help.
Also - Mychargeback is another company that isn't regulated and doesn't have a traceable address or bank that you could contact if they just took your money and did nothing more - they may be genuine, but once bitten, twice shy as they say in Warwickshire!
I didn't go ahead with the claim by my chargeback. On advice from a debt aid agency, they were very suspicious of a company that wanted money upfront - and said if they were that sure, they would work on no win, no fee basis. I tried claiming money back under section 75 claim back from Visa, but...
Yes that's the one. Still shows my balance, and still even says my request for a withdrawal 'has been passed on' but nothing ever happens. Been a month or so now, same thing.
