"FXOpen UK is emailing to inform you of an important change to our business. Following a strategic review, the company has decided to focus exclusively on providing services to Professional and Institutional Clients.As a result of this change, FXOpen UK will no longer offer trading accounts to Retail Clients.
As you are currently classified as a Retail Client, we regret to inform you that you are now required to close any open position you may have and withdraw your funds. Positions must be closed by and funds withdrawn by 16:00 GMT+1 on Wednesday 16th September 2026.
What happens if my positions are not closed by Wednesday 16th September 2026?
Please note that if any positions are still open at 16:00 GMT+1 on Wednesday 16th September 2026, your position will be closed at the prevailing market rate as soon as is practically possible after the cut off time, in compliance with clause 37 of the Terms and Conditions.
Will my account be closed?
Following the closure of all positions and the withdrawal of funds, your account will be closed on Wednesday 16th September 2026. Please ensure that you download all statements needed ahead of this time, as after your account is closed, you will no longer have access to this information. "
Have all those with retail accounts with these guys closed? They were happy to have account when making money from me but now they are making less they are closing my account. They refuse to share where they have made this public knowledge and instead suggest they are emailing clients privately. Why not put it out in the public so no more retail clients sign-up to their services?
