Firm: Goat Funded Trader (GFT)
Account ID: #414480068
Trader: Ameer Baigum
Issue Summary:
My 2-Step funded account was unfairly terminated after I asked for a simple rule clarification.
1. I asked GFT support: "If I open a crypto trade before the 5 PM EST reset and close it after, how does daily drawdown apply?"
2. Their agent "Treasure" gave me a written confirmation that it counts toward the "previous day".
3. I followed that rule. My Monday trades (excluding BTC) had a net loss of only -$99.52. My equity was $5,212.22, while the 4% drawdown threshold was $5,099.27 – I was well within the limit.
4. The breach was caused by a system execution delay, which another GFT agent "Nenrit" admitted to in writing.
5. When I asked for a fair resolution:
- Joseph (Support) claimed a "violation email" was already sent to me.
- Sunday (Support) said the "risk team is in delay" and asked me to wait.
- I never received any violation email. These statements contradict each other.
6. I gave them a 24-hour final notice to provide proof of my violation or reinstate my account. They ignored my demands and sent me a generic copy-pasted definition of a trading day.
My account was permanently terminated without any violation proof.
I have full screenshot evidence of:
- Treasure's written confirmation
- Nenrit's admission of system delay
- Joseph and Sunday's contradictory replies
- My equity calculations
I request FPA to review this case and help expose this unfair practice so other traders don't fall into the same trap.
