How often do I receive your trade ideas?
Put simply, you will receive trade ideas whenever the market decides to give us one! Any experienced trader will tell you the same thing; that the market can do anything at anytime and that tradable opportunities are random...Remember waiting ages for that bus and then suddenly three all turned up at once?
Well, this is very much the case with financial markets trading. Sometimes there are months when there are many opportunities and sometimes there are months when there are few...but you have to be in it to win it.

Just because there are no trade set-ups in the currency markets it does not mean there are none elsewhere. How long will it take to master the markets in the way of the lazy trader?
We have had clients who master the markets in the way of The Lazy Trader in weeks, others months...some as long as years.
Remember that Rome wasn’t built in a day. Everyone has their own pace when it comes to learning and it’s important to remember that mastering the markets takes a high level of dedication, determination and perseverance. The important thing is to have realistic expectations and to be fair to yourself.
Just because you may take longer than you had hoped, it does not mean that you will not make it as a consistently profitable trader. Often it’s the students who take their time in a logical and methodical manner are the ones who do best – very much in the same way that those who fail their driving test several times often make better drivers than those who pass first time round.
9.Which charting package should I use for my trading
The choice is yours. The great news is that the market for charting software is more competitive than ever before so you can get some great software packages to suit all budgets. A great place to start if you wanted to test the water for a free charting option is either Meta trader or Realtime Pro – or eSignal for a paid for service.
Of course, there are pros and cons to free versus paid for services.
Typically your broker will offer a Meta trader 4 or 5 terminal which will give you both the ability to analyse charts as well as place trades in one package. However, it will typically reflect your brokers’ prices and prices do differ from broker to broker and you will be confined to their prices.
If you wanted freedom and a fairer view of prices then eSignal is a great paid-for charting package which uses composite data from a wide selection of banks and institutions. Many of its users feel that through using composite data, they are getting a fairer view of the market rather than simply what their broker is quoting them.
Remember though, you get what you pay for and many of the free services will have upgrade options.
I don’t have a broker account – is there anyone who you recommend?
We pride ourselves on being one of the very few service providers that remain fully independent from having ties with brokers. This is why we do not openly promote them. However, we do acknowledge the few brokerage houses that pass our rigorous screening, in offering value, safety and go that extra mile for their clients.
