Hi, I am Dave
I joined FPA for quite a while now but have been away
I some questions

1) I am still relatively new to fx and would like to know what the closest to precise indicator (best) to learn is if i want to trade technical?

2) When trading the news, how do u know if the market will go long or short when the news for the day is released??

4 example - the NZD of yesterday (11th Dec) - I traded(demo) not sure on the direction the market was going. So unlucky was I, the market went in the other direction.

3) Can I get help with good and credible materials as all i want is just to get better at fx??

Thank you....

Welcome to the FPA.

1. Technical traders have been known to get into back alley brawls over who has the best indicators. It's too early in the morning for me to start a knife fight, so I'll let someone else be the first to jump in on this.

2. Definitely study the Daily Trading Signals for awhile, not just the upcoming ones, but the analysis of what went right and wrong with the previous ones. Also, this article may help:

3. Start with all the free stuff here at the FPA and then look at free stuff elsewhere too. Don't spend any money until you have an idea of just how you want to trade and what products (if any) you might need.

The one and only

Hi Diante,

IMO there is only one reliable technical indicator.

A STRAIGHT LINE.

May you learn to draw them properly.

Cheers,
Cyclon
