COURSE ACCESS RESTRICTION

Service use: Live Length of use: 0-3 Months
I joined this course after being told it was self paced. Once I joined I discovered they restrict you on which course content you can access. They began telling me that I couldn't even access some of the content until after some weeks. You told me the course was self paced yet you won't let me move as fast as I would like to ??? It became clear that they deliberately slow you down to increase the amount of time you pay them the $349.44 monthly payment. NOT GOOD !!!!

Disappointing

RFX Academy was started by Courtney Logan about two years ago, and I participated in two trial offers. I even managed to meet some of the mentors in person before the program was actually started. After a lot of hype, I expected advanced information and detailed contents, but, unfortunately, I did not see content to justify the $250 per month subscription fee. Most of what I saw was basic training, much of which could be found in other courses for considerably less, or even free on YouTube. I did try asking detailed questions, but I sensed a culture of ‘secrets’ and ‘special advanced knowledge’. Having been part of I-Markets Live previously (IML, renamed I-Markets Mastery), I recognized that this was the same attitude I encountered with IML, where I was frequently told to ‘go back to the academy videos’, which, in hindsight, was a deliberate practice to ensure that you remained subscribed at a hefty monthly cost. RFX openly refers to Anna Coulling’s teachings, and likely exists because Coulling’s own Forex program does not offer mentorship, which RFX offers. Logan himself is a big fan of the psychology of trading and the use of volume profiles.
There is a lot of talk of success, but I (or anyone that I know) was never able to directly contact any student who found success with them. To me, this is a red flag, and tells me that the education programs probably relies on FOMO to recruit new people, in the same way that IML did.

The connection to IML is clearer in Logan’s Facebook Group called the Powerhouse Group NFP, and includes contributions from former educators from I-Markets Live, including Clint Eastman (who also mentored Logan), Eric Garrison and Adaeze Duncan. There are several tutorial videos in the guide section, as well as videos on mindset, and a few strategies. Some of these videos are actually quite useful and helpful to trading, particularly the one on gold. Within this Facebook group there are still links with IML, where I found that several of the mentors in the ‘mentorship’ section actually recruit for IML. Many of the group admin have their own separate training programs, which charge a lot for their training. After all, many ex-members of IML were paying about $300 per month to IML, so would likely pay this amount for training anyway, and this Facebook group is likely a repository of future students for the paid programs.
There is also a lot of mention religion within the chat and videos, suggesting that the group is an altruistic group, willing to help others (similar to IML’s practice). However, as Eastman once pointed out, some people can actually get tax exemption by becoming religious ministers (see sedm.org).
The thing is, there are no secrets in trading. If you’ve ever been to school or college, no reputable teacher will ever tell you ‘that’s a secret for later’ or ‘that’s special knowledge’, and good teachers will ALWAYS be willing to share information to improve you. Most of the knowledge that you need for Forex is already out there in professional programs that charge a lot less, and is even offered free of charge. However, human nature will make people keep coming back to sites like these, especially when they have lost trades and are feeling really bad, hence willing to pay a lot for someone to make things better. Trading is a marathon, not a race. If there are people who actually know secrets to trading, these people will be so busy enjoying their millions, that they won’t have time for people like you and me
