As a follow up to my previous posts about the Forex Kiss system, I would like to update the Forex community with my experience with the system and my final evaluation.

While the system ultimately performs exactly as advertised and comes with outstanding support, the bottom line is that I got a margin call on 2 different pairs that I was trading - exactly by the book.

The system essentially takes larger and larger trades (in Martingale fashion), at predefined levels (ie. 40, 50, 70 pips) opening trades in squares 2, 4, 8, 16, etc. up to a total of 10 levels - or 512, in hopes that the market will eventually retrace and get you out at a profit. While the market usually does retrace by the level amount at some point during its rise or fall, it does not necessarily always retrace to your take profit level, so depending upon where your trades started, it could (and did in my case) weave a nice up and down pattern right in between my take profit levels (missing it by 2 pips in one case) and continuing on until you get to 10. And then when you throw on top of this the massive moves that we have seen in the JPY, CHF, and EUR, you have a really volatile mix that brings trouble fast.

There is also a problem that you will face once you get to 10, as no more trades will be opened and you will be stranded at sea if the price continues to trade out of your grid...all the while going more and more into a spiraling and growing draw down. Of course, some will say that you can at that point enter an opposing trade in the exact amount of lots that you had opened, thus hedging and freezing your position. But then what? You just sit there and wait until it comes back into your grid? This could take weeks, months, or years. And even if it did come back to your grid, then what, you release the hedge when it gets back to the grid? It sounds like it would work, but its not all that easy. And you will lose a big chunk of change on the spread of your hedge trade too, because it will be a big one.

And by the way, this last trade - at 512 - is a whopper, causing massive movement in your equity with every tick. While I did make some good and steady profits for many months, in the end, the program wiped out my account, which, thankfully for me, was a small tester account. As I see it, its just a matter of time before one of the pairs you are trading runs all 10 levels against you and blows out all of your gains and takes your equity with it. And the worst part of it all is that you will feel completely powerless to do anything while this is happening - other than closing out all of your positions and running for the hills - which kind of nullifies the whole point of trading a system in the first place (if you are not going to follow your system), because again, it trades exactly as advertised. Just know what you are getting into before you trade this EA.

HAVING SAID ALL OF THIS, I do still really believe that this EA can make you a ton of money IF you leverage it to the max and treat it as an all or nothing proposition. IN other words, have a set amount in your account that you are prepared to completely blow out, leverage it to the max, let the EA rip and take profits out every week. Based upon my demos, I was doubling my account every 1-2 weeks, but then I blew it out every so often. But the doublers outnumbered the blow outs. If you can handle this, you can make alot of money with the Kiss-EA. It's really no different than buying an option for instance, knowing exactly what your exposure is and either you make money or you lose your option cost. And then you repeat as often as you like. For me, I dont know if I am ready to handle this yet.

AND in the final analysis, I will still refrain from rating the system, since I think it sucks if you are trading tiny lots, but is really amazing on a larger scale with lots of leverage and high risk.

I purchased Forex-Kiss Ver II back in Oct of this year and followed the authors instructions to the letter. While trading on a live account with IBFX I found that this EA consistantly makes money. (which is more than I can say for most). I would highly recommend this to anyone who is serious about making money.

This product works exactly as advertised. It is running perfectly and is making money daily for me. Highly recommend for steady consistent income. Response to questions is prompt (12 hours).

Sorry to hear about your misfortune Breadline Dean. I don't know how big your account was, but trading micro lots (.10) is probably what you got you in trouble. I went through the same drawdown that you did, but eventually came out of it without much problem because I was only trading nanolots (.01 lots). This system will wipe you out if you are over leveraged (ie. greedy). Otherwise, for me, this is the only system that I have ever used that has consistently generated pips for me, each and every day, without any effort.

On the other hand, if you want to be greedy, I think you can still profit with this system, but you have to have a certain level of risk tolerance. In addition to my live account, I am trading a $5000 demo account (with .10 lots), and I doubled it twice before it finally hit a drawdown of $5000+, but then it came back to zero. My $5000 demo account is currently at almost $18000 - in a little more than 2 months. If this was a live account, I would be pulling money out of it, so it may have blown out by now if I only kept $5000 in it. But if you can double your account 5 to 10 times a year by overleveraging it, what is the big deal if you blow it out a few times, as long as you are taking out your profits? If you have the stomach for it, I am sure it will make you a lot more money than you are making day trading forex, glued to the screen 5 and a half days a week. Is it really any different than taking 5 or 10 big trades a year. I know this does not make sense to most traders, who need to trade 5 or 10 times a week. If you need to trade, this system is definitely not for you.

BUT one thing is for sure. This program is NOT A SCAM.

Update I was too over confident and ignored what many have said about Martingale systems. They will eventually wipe you out. I was making money weekly but since Oct. 23, 2007 the USD/CHF has dropped without correction and I got cleaned out. Started with .1 lots and finished at 25.6 when I had to quit as that was soon to be 51.2 lots which I couldn't afford.
As those more experienced than me have often said, these kinds of systems do not work forever. Keep your money and stay away.

What is this about a scam. That's B.S.! I am trading this EA on a real account and make money week after week. I have bought most EA's I have found on the net and only two are profitable from my experience and this is one of them.

I just want to say that I did not feel that this system could ever work for me. But I believe it can be efficient to others. At least people at Forex Kiss were 5 starts and immediatly gave me a refund upon my request. I sincerely think that with this degree of customer support people should give it a try!

I purchased the KISS Expert Advisor for MT4 10 days ago and have been running it in demo mode on a $5000 account. So far I have banked $2,500. Thats a 50% return in 10 days...for all of you (like myself) who are mathematically challenged. So far, the max drawdown was about 20%. Because of the way that the system trades there is a possibility of generating a margin call if the markets you are trading move too far, too fast. But hey, thats life trading in the fast lane. I know that I have only tested the system for 10 days, but my computer is not lying to me. With so little time using the system, I will not assign a rating to the system. But one thing I can say for sure. This IS NOT A SCAM and Forex-Kiss does not belong in the SCAM group. So far they delivered exactly what they advertised, and even the follow has been very fast and courteous. Once I have had enough trades under my belt, I will return and rate the system.
