Big Claims - No Proof, No Answers
In a "weak moment", I clicked on a link in an email ad I received describing a trading forex approach.
Here are just a few excerpts I read on the webpage:
1. "How To Make Profits Without Losing Your Capital From Forex Trades..."
2. That with my system, there is absolutely no risk, as it works on 100% Capital Preservation
checkmark.
3. How you can make profits everytime. When you enter the trade, you make money
4. 100% Capital Preservation. As we are not speculating into trades with the "hope" of it moving, you'll not be losing any of your capital amount invested
5. Make Profits everytime. When you enter the trade, you either make money or you don’t.
6. Now is the chance of your lifetime to experience your life's wildest dreams!
7. If You Want A Money Making System That Will Change Your Life Forever That Guarantees Massive Profits From Forex Trading.
OK - I am ALMOST convinced. So I write an email asking a few important and specific questions. See the list below.
And guess what? 2 emails, pleading for a reply over two weeks and I never got a reply.
I cannot state that the claims they make are untrue as I never got the answers to the questions I asked which would have permitted me to make an intelligent decision. I therefore never purchased the product.
In my opinion, no answers means that are NO GOOD answers to be had. otherwise, the information I requested would have appeared on the web ad. Again just my opinion, I could be completely incorrect. Do your own research and form your own opinion.
I would have given them 2 stars because they failed to provide me with the information to rate them higher or otherwise. (I did not want to escalate and therefore did not give 1 star. per FPA policy.)
Here are the questions I asked, excerpted.

1. On what time frame does it trade?
2. What is the typical stop setting in terms of the number of pips?
3. What was the maximum draw-down over the past 2 years?
4. What useful screenshots can you provide?
5. Which, if any, indicators are used?
6. Where can I see the actual live trading results to substantiate your claims?
And of course, why do you not provide actual, substantiated live trading results?..."
