Terrible support

It can take you hours to get a support person to give you the right answers. I also had talked to a support person and then after the chat he sent me a email to review how support worked out for me. Since when does the support person collect his own reviews? They also will hold your money 5 or more days before you can trade it even though it took only hours to have it electronically transferred there. I dont know any brokerage that holds your electronic deposits like that. I quit them when they had not released my electronic funds for more then 6 days. Support is not there to help you they are there to get you off the line as they dont have any power to change anything to help you. There meta 5 is very difficult to learn to operate and video instructions are not understandable. The client web portal is very difficult to navigate and you actually have to watch a video to learn how to navigate it. Much better places to do business with.

I'm relatively new to AMP Global and done all my homework when choosing a broker. I have read all the reviews. With that said, I have been happy with their service thus far. Obviously they are competitive when it comes to pricing and they have a good selection of platform and data feed. No issues with execution and no issues with withdrawals. I've found a common "theme" in the negative reviews in which the "issue" was out of AMP's control and them just doing there regulatory due diligence and more so with the clients residency and banking system. You can count me in with the happy and sincere customers.

I have traded with AMP Futures since mid 2020 and started having problems with withdrawals. The first one took some time because I had to adjust account detail, what was shocking by then, was their compliance disable my trading immediately without warning, right after I emailed them inquiring of my unreceived wire transfer. That was in March 2021. I begged compliance to let me trade, fixed my account, the snitch face lawyer was ok, you can not deposit funds, WHEN I ALREADY HAD 11k!! and WAS withdrawing 1k.

Next, just on the 4th of October, I did another withdrawal request. This time, all is fine, data, receipt, but MY BANK has informed numerous times they have not received the MONEY. JUST AN EMPTY ORDER!!!!!!! AMP DIDNT SEND ME THE MONEY.

My bank manager sent the account holder an email containing instructions of which data BMO Harris should insert, which international wire transfer from at AMP doesn't have. An informal email, she had already sent instructions via internal system, she only helped my husband to request it to AMP and made it manually like simulating the field in the SWIFT. Only she exchanged Agency/Account for tax in the header of one line. But again, that was just to have him claim for the data fix. And BMO had in internally, we just wanted AMP to hasten the process.

AMP compliance used that silly email to say: "your husband had put tax instead of agency/account. An excuse to say that because there was data amending, now we are to wait 3 weeks, that is how banks work".

The story in steps:

1 - their wire transfer form was filled correctly, with all data requested
2 - the tax number was sent via internal bank SWIFT between the banks involved
3 - I requested info about the wire after 5 days, they disabled my trading immediately
4 - AMP kept finding peanuts in the data sent informally by email
5 - AMP stopped answering email and chat, all their 0800 are unsigned
7 - My bank sent the 4th email saying they had received the order without CASH
6 - I reviewed them on Trustpilot, they started providing customer service there, fighting me, exposing my case, blaming it on the missing data their form doesn't even contain
7 - AMP informs I will have to wait another 3 weeks because there was data amend.
8 - I filed NFA, and they have made them start communicating with me, because AMP was giving me customer service over Trustpilot public forum.
9 - I filed as whistleblower with the SEC
10 - AMP emailed me with a print of my website containing my husband's face and mine, asking: is this your website? (THREATENING?) I had no answer on the relevance of that
11 - AMP has been holding my 1k, little money indeed, for 17 days now.
12 - I requested a new withdrawal of the remaining balance
13 - My country's embassy was notified of the theft

If you are a customer of AMP GLOBAL CLEARING, try to withdraw any sum today and show me you could do it please.

No Problems

I have an account both at AMP Futures (USA) and AMP Global (Europe). For my futures trading I use AMP (USA) because they have a variety of platforms and data feeds to meet anyone's needs. For my forex trading I like the MT5 with AMP Global (Europe) because I have the option to trade other markets from the same platform. At both houses the pricing and commissions are competitive and low. In my experience the support was good and I have no problems with any slippage or spreads. One thing they can maybe improve on is the Client Portal. But, to each his own. Thank you, AMP.

I couldn't think of a better broker to recommend

I'm a former floor trader who turned to the screens a while back. Making the transition was difficult but it was made a whole lot easier when I discovered AMP and began using their platforms and services. I've been with them ever since all the while they have grown. I couldn't think of a better broker to recommend for the the retail or professional trader. Thank you for a decade of service!

Customer support is fine and commissions are fine

If you are trading with a futures broker be prepared to pay for live data and trading fees. They aren't cheap but that's the price you pay to be with a futures broker. Commission and spread is above average. Servers are good. Everything feels transparent.

Rude customer support and huge fees

They charged me 30 usd to convert 100 eur to usd, and this only to be able to withdraw my money.
They last forever to answer to mails (2 weeks in my case, after 3 reminders).
When they answer, they don't every apologize, so rude customer services (at least "Victor B"), no hello, nor best regards etc

customer service could be better

i sent funds by transfer wise. they asked me to provide a confirmation of the transfer from my bank account. I provided a confirmation for more than I sent to AMP and they refunded me and charged me for costs.

Customer support is a bad joke

I have been charged -108.50 USD even I haven't opened a single trade yet and then another -180 USD, the fees are shown on MT5 as a "Correction (Synchronization)". When you contact the live chat about it, you won't get an answer but you will find their support people extremely rude and unhelpful...

AMP Futures will randomly do “corrections” on your account balance which will cause your account to go into a negative balance. They took over $270 from my account with 0 explanation and expect me to settle the negative balance. Good luck if you try to contact them about the fraudulent charges that make on your account because you will receive 0 response back from them.

AMPFutures listens to customers. Customer Support is now excellent.

A few days ago I needed to change my platform so contacted AMP to make sure that the new platform I was interested in is compatible with the AMP/CQG. I had bad experience with their Customer Support before but had no choice except to contact them before purchasing the new platform.

To my surprise, chat was answered within minutes, as compared to about ten minutes a few months ago. Further, the Customer Support (guy named Ignacio) answered all my questions promptly and efficiently.

At first I tought my experience was just a one time exception, but a day after when I contacted them again a few times via chat the response time was consistently pretty fast. I also sent them an email and was replied to in less than 24 hours.

It appears AMPFutures has improved considerably in its Customer Support. So I revise my previous rating to 5*.

Oct 12, 2019 - 2 Stars AMPFutures have some interesting offers but apparently the company is operating on autopilot. This means when you have problems or have questions you are totally on your own and have to use Google for solutions or guess what the answers are. They put you on a queue on the live chat, and when it is your turn their reponse was simply to request you to use email. And emails they have never responded (5x).

On the positive side, they have a nice collection of youtube videos (despite being outdated).

I have an account with minimum amount with them and only need their free platform and futures data feed so despite all this will not close the account.

However, I would not recommend them for actual trading due to their Customer Service being non-existent.

Customer Help gave wrong info on price limits

Support guys gave wrong info on price limits. Asked them several times about circuit breakers before the Crude Oil historical gap.

The customer support guy kept directing me to 7% price limit. I asked him to double check because I see it spiked +15% or more during Drone attack so does the limit still hold on downside? He said yes. Then another support guy took over and also replied the same thing. (I wrote to CME to confirm btw but never got a reply). I went around asking in forums too btw but was ridiculed and mocked. They say circuit breakers only work on downside (never on upside) since purpose was to prevent panic.

Anyway, crude opened with gap down and went more than -32% so much for all the advice. I was very surprised because I asked AMP support more than once and they kept showing me the page with 7% price limit? Because of their incompetence, my account got wiped and now they are also asking me to pay some debit balance. Very shocking.

Imo they are either negligent OR intentionally misled clients who ask questions, to wipe their accounts. Impossible for them to be in this industry for so long and yet remain so ignorant? Is this something that can be raised to FINRA?

Horrible support, customer service

I had the same experience as most do with this firm. They don't care about their customers. They offer out date platforms for low commissions.

Bad customer service and response immediately out the gate

I had high hopes for these guys and they are seriously disappointing so far.

Their customer service has been terrible and in general outright wrong. The support guy makes me wait hours because he was talking to multiple people at the time to get simple questions answered, wouldn't then sufficiently answer my questions (I was trying to give them money BTW), and then tells me the wrong information again wasting my time having me do processes to transfer the money that aren't even supported.

I have concerns about the competency so far in the first couple weeks of setting up the account. I was going to transfer more money than i am now because of my experiences which I will limit what i use with them until they can prove competency that would be expected of such a company.

Ampfutures is a d***head broker, they don't allowed me to open a real account and even don't explained the reason. S*** website design. Time wasted.
